I can't wait to finally see Aldo in the UFC, for me he's already up there with the greats, so this is gonna be extremely exciting. Shields has a serious shot to take that belt eventhough he certainly faces one of the most intelligent guys out there with GSP. Shields vs. Henderson is the 1 fight that made me scream at the TV. Hendo had Shields on his ass, all but KO'ed , what 2-3 times in the first round? Then he gased out. To me, my opinion, it wasnt what Shields did, it was what Hendo didnt/couldnt get done.

Henderson doesn't normally fail to finish the fight when he lands the right hand, he just beat the 205 strikeforce champion with it. Henderson was gassed though that was obvious, so it was easy for shields from that point.

GSP is saying he is not afraid of Shields on the ground, IDK if he is serious, but if he is then that is the stupidest thing ever. Shields could sweep or submit GSP from the bottom and if he gets on top GSP is not getting up. Shields could very well win this fight if this hits the ground at any point.

Your prediction has a good statistically chance of playing out. I think that for Jake to have a chance he needs to apply and/or overwhelm gsp with pressure (not a easy thing to do) in the early two rounds. If and when Jake can get inside the pocket (I not sure if jake can get in the pocket), his strengths become more evident and the utility of his skills can come into play. To beat gsp you can't wait for him to make a mistake and then capitalize on it. You need to force him to make a mistake
