Nice job crew, I am living with some folks down in high falls NY they build and designed a timber framed two story house with lots of help. They straw baled it and added a brick floor awesomely tight. I will had to come up and check it out. Timber farming a great way to build.
@cskillet2003 Hi and thanks for your question. This is made with 6x6 beams, and they are cut from eastern Hemlock, and are not too bad.They can be lifted by two people, or three is better, and some are very light and others are a bit heavier. So it depends on the person doing the lifting and which beams, etc. Usually for a cabin of this size, we can raise it with just a few people. One person could do it if he/she used a lot of supports through the raising process. It would take a while!

Looks great! Could something this size be built by one person? I have a feeling the pieces are a lot heavier than they look.
