Actually, there is another way of getting regigigas. You have to migrate all the regis into diamond/ pearl. bring them with you into the snow temple and the person blocking the temple will allow you to go inside. Regigigas is inside.

hey, im trying to catch registeel and I have my event regigigas in my party, but the game won't let me attempt to catch it. What's going on? I think my regigigas has been tampered with or something

yea i found the cave to registeel, and i step on all the panels, but it still won't let me battle.  Do i need the national dex or something?
