in Isaiah(42:1) 1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
So there is no more obvious statement than this one. As God has clarified this truth that he is a slave of God and God has placed his spirit on him to support him like the other prophets.

Guy Fawkes and the other conspirators were Roman Catholics trying to kill King James and attack England because of their printing of the King James Bible. Rome and England were the bitterest of enemies. Protestant England was taking the gospel to the world through her rising empire and Rome was not about to let that happen.
