Personally I find the scaremongering about G-20's and G-8's quite ridiculous. what happened was a news crew was demonstration a gas mask which aroused the polices suspicion so they put theirs on, you can see some in the back still doin it, then when people say them do it, they started covering their faces thinking they were going to be gased, which then solidfied that something was about to happen in the cops mind so they scattered them before anything went down, this comes from 5 trustable sources. so peaceful may not always seem peacfuly

This is being said a lot... "there was a sudden change". I have a hunch somebody is watching a satellite image somewhere, and deciding when a crowd is too big and too dangerous. At very least a commanding officer has a headset and issues the order. Sounds like using the national anthem pissed off a higher up somewhere. Really, if the black bloc keep using any crowd as a hiding place, then the police can justify doing this.
