You guys they say to use it over their brand of nail polish so you'll buy more of their brand, they obviously know it works over any polish, but duh, they don't wanna advertise someone else's brand over theirs!

@emjewel123 I did exactly the same thing!!! I'd bought Black Mesh, thinking it was just ordinary black (can't read black print on glass over black content!!!) and was horrified when it just 'curdled' over a base coat. Am loving it now, though ;-)

@missijam it crackled great.. obv u havent used it.. u dont wanna go to light or u can kinda see the underneath color and to much crackle can look kinda messy... i apply more now that ive used them so u see it and it doesnt jus like like a mashed up look of colors.

I now own most of the China Glazes colors. I love using a clear coat or a very pale base coat with them, especially the Tarnished Gold and Black Mesh. I then put a coat or 2 of instant dry top coat and its beautiful.

@princessbubbles881 It can be over any polish just make sure what ever your'e painting it over is completely dry or it wont crackle as well. I've also not had much luck getting it to do well over glitter. :)

I don't like the cracked concrete. If had better working crackling polishes many years ago. It leaves big cracks with a thin coat instead of small cracks. Looks like a mistake instead of nail art.

I personally do not like shatter polish. It doesn't look good to me looks like chipped polish. Some designs do come out nice but others don't and most of the reviews I've seen don't have good results in my opinion.
