I still have my complete copy of this movie......I wonder if I can post it here on YouTube without it being pulled?? Please post a response and let me know!
@QueensLadyDay I think if its in the public domain you can but don't quote me on that. "How Awful About Alan" is also on Youtube. You might want to consult a lawyer to make sure.
Jonathan Frid was wasted in this movie. As Mr. Howard, he was in the background. The director never gave him closeups, so his silent acting skills, for which he did an outstanding job in Dark Shadows by using a wide range of facial expressions, were lost here.
@nmelchor247 i do not know the answer to your question but i have been looking for a movie that i THINK is this movie. the time fram is correct but i have a question for you. is this the movie where this lady is engaged to a guy and at the end they chant something like "Dianna... wishes the devil!" over and over again and in one of the final scenes... this demonic figure appears in the church or whatever and his eyes glow? i was a little boy in the early 70s and am fuzzy on details... thnx
@deeeff1000 i think this is the movie you're describing. at the end, everyone chants, "hail diana, princess of darkness" over & over. she turns to face the groom and HIS eyes are glowing.
@phulnelson you are SO KIND. indeed. i found the movie at one of the video stores in the local area. they have HARD TO FIND movies. i rented it and watched about 3 times. they DO NOT make movies like that anymore.
Shelley Winters (as Lilith) is saying, "Leaving? Whaddya mean you're leaving?" Belinda J. Montgomery plays a young woman who is placed in Lilith's care, but decides to leave when all these weird things start happening. This is a GREAT fun film from the 70's that I've been tryin' to find for years! Belinda's younger brother Lee H. Montgomery was the kid in "Ben" and "Burnt Offerings" starring Oliver Reed and Karen Black.
I remember Shelley Winters chewing up the scenery in a most delightful way in this one. And that hottie Robert Foxworth with flames in his eyes. Plan to check out the renting possibilities on this one for Halloween. Great cast and ultimate shmaltzy 70's fare.
I saw this movie back in 73 on abc. They had really cool movies back then on movie of the week. I wish we could see more of these great old movies on tv again.
I LOVED this when it first came. Glad I was able to find the title. Anyone remember Trilogy of Terror, Burnt Offerings,or The Sentinal? If you love the 70's Movie of the Week check these out.
"Trilogy Of Terror " (1975) was a Made For TV "Movie Of The Week"... however Burnt Offerings" (1976) and "The Sentinel" (1977) were theatrical features.
I love these 70s movies

sure thing. Air date was 01/09/73 on The Tuesday Movie Of The Week. They casted a lot of entertainers from Hollywood's "good ol' days"

A fun Rosemary's baby type.
The actors were good.

Trilogy of Terror was cool. This was just mindless drivel produced to sell Ivory soap.
