This song is absolutely amazing. It's definitely my favorite that I've done with any orchestra or wind ensemble. I loved the meter changes. Like switching from 4/4 to 5/8 then 6/8, or whatever, something like that, and it was constant too. How many times does the time signature change in this whole song?
I played this 3 years ago in highschool, and I just remembered the name today and bought it, my computer classified it as "country music" someone needs to fix the genre decider on these programs.
@djmikeaaronr The Northern Illinois one. I would have bought this one because I hear Eugene Corporon is a bit of a legend as conductors go, but it was album only, and I didn't have the money for a full album. Well both recordings sound great anyhow, if all "country music" was like this I think I could get into the genre ;)
