Paul Anka was born and raised here in Ottawa, Ontario Canada where I live and there is a street here in Ottawa named after him. Paul's first wife had a mixture of backgrounds and one was Lebanese and a very beautiful and classy lady. She bore him 5 beautiful daughters until he divorced her and married that ugly looking dragon lady - a no good for nothing piece of crap. Something made him flip for sure. Danny Thomas made us all laugh back in the 1950's era and a very good man indeed.

As of Dec 6, 2009 he filed for a divorce from the second Mrs. Anka. It appears that he is finally thinking with his head. Sorry if he is in a bad situation but, she is nothing but a bad one. I love Paul's music and i thought his first wife was a keeper.

It didn't last? February 16, 1963 to September 28, 2000.... They had a 37 year marriage. Most people don't have marriages last even 5 years. I'd say the Anka's marriage was lasting.
