  • they should make a laser tag dogfighting kit. hah, when you get hit smoke comes out. our if you want to get hardcore mount automatic airsoft gun in that puppy! somehow hah

  • Thumbed and faved great job

    ATB Silly Fokker RC

  • now mount an airsoft gun onto it!!! and then fly by-shoot them with it.

  • Hi this is chandra i would like to do the same at my side and request you to provide me the details for the equipment which you have used in this video. It would be highly appreciated if you can send all the materials which you have used in this video.I can pay you for all the equipment.

  • Not sure where to ask this question so hopefully someone here can help. I purchased a 900mhz plug and play package with a fpvcam480. I attached seperate 11.1 2200ma batteries to the transmitter and receiver. I've got leds on both units. I'm on channel 1 on both units and the cam voltage switch is correct. I get a mostly green screen with static sounds that change with transmitter movement, but no picture. I've tried different tvs and channel selections. Any ideas?

  • How is everyone controlling the pan and tilt when there is only 2 joysticks on the transmitter?

  • @kahuna717 its from a pilot that wears a glass with a motion thing that will tilt if you move ur head.

  • does this require a lisence to transmit the video???

  • lol I like the sound fx :)

  • which camera system are you running? i just ordered the 900mhz with the FPVCAM-480. think i'll have a fair amount of range with that?

  • Great video..really cool sound effects...well done

  • What kind of transmitter/receiver would you suggest for fpv flying?

  • how much do easystars cost?

  • well done, love the radial engine sound...

  • having trouble figuring out everything i need.. i see bundles, but they dont seem to include some things i need to make this work at its best. things like the moving camera, or the better antenna.. maybe im just not seeing it?

  • How does the camera movement work?

  • What does it shot?

  • Fun video and great sound FX .... Careful you will shoot yourself in the back. LOL

  • hey i looked up the AUN905 and it says at the bottom that this combo has no camera or battery can you help me?

  • o plz tell me where to get that video camera set up!!! please, please, please!!!!!!!!!

  • GREAT video !! Very cool sound effects !! lol . When buying this system,AUN905,are there things needed that they DONT tell you,I only want to send them ONE check, and if you have any tips that might help, please,do tell.

  • Nope....AUN905 comes with everyhting you basically need....but replace the receivers stock antenna for the AN908 patch antenna, it will make a huge difference.

  • You can find everything about wireless video for remote controlled models at HobbyWireless...com and look for the FPV524 or FPV905 if you have a 2.4GHz radio.

If you want to fly using video glasses then, AUN524 or AUN905 kit comes with everything you want for your virtual reality RC flight!

    Have fun!

  • Wow! Neat video and sound effects.

  • Thanks!

  • can you put the mini camra to show on your laptop

  • Sure, you can...you will need a USB video capture, and plug the cable from the audio and video receiver and fly you rc plane looking at the laptop screen and record the video at the same time...I'm sure you will love it!

    Cheers!

  • im trying to use my laptop wiith no luck, i bought a sabrent usb 2.0 video capture creator with audio...any help would be appreciated.. thanks

  • Some of the cleanest video Ive see.....very nice work.....

  • Thank you!

  • whats your airplane trainsmitter, i want to get one if it was able to go 2 miles. since i have 2.4ghz and its only good for line of sight flying.

  • U might be right but I think that at 25oo ft 2miles will be line of sight.

  • How cool is that !

  • I love it.. You can tell with the sound effects that you spent alittle time with this video.. Thumbs Up for this one!!

  • Yep, I spent some time patching, editing this video. But I think it was worthy. Thanks!

  • lol i like

  • thanks!

  • I almost died laughing when i heard those sound effects.

  • lol!

  • Sound effects are hilarious! Great job

  • Thanks!

  • how are you able to control your camera around ? can you fly a plane just by watching the screen and not the plane from below?

  • You can control your camera with a sensor attached to your video glasses, hat... you can find the TrackR2 head tracking sensor in our website hobbywireless...com

  • ROFLMAO!

The video is much better after a TALL glass of Scotch!

  • lol

  • I ROFL every time the gun fires!

  • the sound of engine is not real

  • Duh!

  • holy shit dude, that was close lol

    great vids..go make more!

  • Sorry Liam2317 I ended up deleting your question by mistake.

You can find everything at HobbyWireless com

  • Wow!! his plane has an altitude device on the main panel of the plane.. if you guys didnt see it watch the video again. the numbers on it do change

  • nice compilation :)

  • Thanks!!!

  • so FPV goes much further?

Lot of RC airplane says 400. and wireless camera is also about 450ft. Can you show me what types of airplane that can go that far?

    and which camera? thanks

  • My AV Tx has 2 kilo meters range with 2000mW RF power, It's from BADA type 2W

  • I used a 500mW A/V transmitter (28 grams), and I got 1.5 kilometers.

  • its possible if there is no interferences around you, but in my site too many interferences

  • What Freq. are you on?

  • On this video was used 72Mhz radio and 2.4Ghz wireless video system, FPV524plug and play kit.

But if you have a 2.4Ghz rc radio transmitter then you can go with 900Mhz wireless video system FPV905, you can it at hobbywireless...com

  • how r u moving the camera?

  • I move by using a head tracker, it goes attached on my video glasses, giving the ability to control the camera on the airplane with my head remotely.

You will find the head track at: hobbywireless com

  • Yeah, this stuff is pretty neat for sure. You're talking about practically all of the capabilities of a military grade hand launched UAV in an easy to afford civilian package (easy to afford as a hobby, not in terms of a casual purchase, of course). And if you live in a populous area you can probably pay off the costs with your own little industrial espionage / private eye for hire business :D Bird's eye for hire heh.

  • How does it pan/tilt is what i wanna know ? This a Dream Come True man !! :0

  • Great vid, too funny... hehehe

  • ok the gun sound tell me is it from call of duty 4 the m60 cuz it sounds like it

  • M60A1 you mean

  • call me a nerd or w/e but i no where those gun sounds are from lol its the m60 for call of duty 4 XD

  • How does this work? I see the camera moving around and a instrument panel etc.........

  • The instrument panel is a sticker not real. Same with the sound unless it a gas easystar, which i highly doubt.FPV mean first person view. On the ground there is a guy recieving live free from the camera and from that he can fly the plane. The camara moves by servos in most cases and is controlled by the flyer. The most common is through a laptop of google that has gyros and sensor to detect the position of your head and mirror the movement to the camera.

  • thats still really cool lol......

  • "laptop of google that has gyros and sensor to detect the position of your head and mirror the movement to the camera" ?? Pls tell me Ur not kiddin - PLEASE !!

  • im not but usally the cost of fpv system is insanly high.

  • laptop? google? that is UAV and not FPV!!!

    different things although not unrelated.

basic FPV system uses a head mounted tracker connected to the buddy connector of your RC TX that senses head rotation by magnetic orientation and/or inertia/gyro sensors

there are various systems out there but for about 500 to 600 USD, yes you can put an FPV system in a plane.

  • Yeah im sorry, just realized what i wrote.

  • wtf is a laptop of google?

  • Comment removed

  • cool vid! btw how wide is this lens?

  • Thanks riosouza you're comments and video have helped me make some decisions about fpv.

  • Awesome fun video

Sold me on which system to buy

  • very creative guys! funny!

  • oh and if you can buy them how much do they cost

  • they cost about 500 or 600 bucks

  • hello

I was just wondering where do you get the goggles from? or do you build them youre self?

PS awsome video that must have been lots of fun

  • This is AWESOME! I just bought a $30 piece of crap from ebay. I'l'l prob try to upgrade to something like this!

  • how bout mini laser guns with pickups on iver plane a bit like laser clay pidgeon shooting??

  • It sounds like fun !!!

  • how much did this cost you???????

  • I'm using a FPV500 system sold at HobbyWireless dot com. HobbyWireless used to sell the complete system ready to use (FPV500) for $325.00 about a year ago, now it is cheaper, and the system is so easy to use that even a child can do it, just plug and play, it worth the money spent!!!

  • I tried those cheap systems sold all over the internet but they are horrible, and have no range at all, 200' feet(60 mts)at the most, and the camera mess the colors up, it's useless. With my FPV500 system I have flown higher than 3200' feet (1 km) above the gorund and 1 mile (1.6 km) away.

  • Are you really shotting something? or is it fake shooting noises?

  • I edited the video, I used sounds from a real airplane Boeing PT-17 stearman and M-109.

  • why do people mount them on the front mhy not on the bottom

  • I do not know about others, but I mount my camera on the cockpit to give me the feeling that I'm in the plane, also if I mount it at the bottom in a crash or hard landing I would say bye-bye to my camera, which is not good.

  • That is probably the best RC Plane video I've ever seen. I've seen a lot. Thanks for posting. What you've done is my dream (if I had the money).

  • Thanks,

I had a lots of fun flying.

  • Excellent audio overdub. Attach an airsoft gun to each plane, that would be cool.

  • Thank you !!! Yeah, good idea about the gun :-)

  • hey, I have an easy star, but I asked a guy about putting a camera on it, and he thought it would be way to front heavy. But obviousely not (seeing your video). Can you give me advice on a cheap camera system (it doesnt need to have servos) that i could hook up to my labtop or somthing.

  • HobbyWireless has 27 grams high resolution cameras!!! Click on my username to read more about it.

  • Very nice. What camera are you using. I see has fisheye lens on, i guess its better for FPV, more vision angle, right?

Oh, what will be next? a CO2 minigun mounted on ur ES? ^_^

  • adidas22205- I know what you mean, in the past I bought a $55.00 wireless system, and gosh video was horrible (unviewable) and the range was something like yours !!! Then I got the FPV500, and no comments this video tell everything.

BladeDC5 - Yep, lucky him I did not have a motor at the nose of my plane !!!!

jrsmnb - You are 100 % right, the airplane is an eletric 54" wing spam made out of foam, I think an .50 caliber machine gun on my Airplane would take too much space :-)

  • redwavestudios - To tell you the truth the higher frequency you go, the shorter will be the range, so 900Mhz wireless systems provides a little better range than 2.4Ghz, although 2.4ghz systems are a little smaller than 900Mhz.

If you have an 2.4ghz radio control (i.e. Sprectrum) than buy the 900Mhz to avoid interference, but if you are using a 72Mhz radio control, you can use either one of the twos systems.

  • lvsupertech - I'm using a 2.4ghz version, But I have the 900Mhz which is better to fly between obstacles, which some times gives you some video artifacts.

MacBooker4444 - I have the camera mounted on two servos, for Pan and Tilt.

  • i think those sounds are facke

  • Gee, you think?

  • u think?

  • Excellent video! That certainly was a close call at 3:44! :o

  • nice, my wireless is all choppy if you get more than 5 feet of range away from the receiver.........

  • Riosouza - Amazing ;)

I was wondering (money is not problem), can you somehow extend rfom 2.4 to 10 ghz?

to have much much greater range.

I would use it to record actual footage in downtown LA.

    let me know, thanks!

    c

  • HOW IS THAT CAMERA MOVING?!?!?!?

  • adorei esse video , a montagen do audio ficou otimo .Parabens ... ( I adored this video, the assembly of the audio one was otimo. Parabens... )

  • Thanks... Obrigado... I used the 2.4Ghz system FPV500 complete system, it comes with everything needed except the video glasses and the video recorder. Yes, I used a mini servo to pan the camera. I mounted the camera on top of the servo.

  • Is that on 900 MHZ or 2.4 GHZ? Looks great. Also what do you use for panning camera? a servo?

  • thats some nice flyin

  • How much does a setup like this cost?

  • The whole wireless micro system, which comes with micro color camera, micro transmiter, receiver, and antennas, everything you need costs $279.00 it's a plug and play system, and kid can use it.

The complete onboard system (camera transmiter and antenna)weights about 2oz 62grams only, and it can send wireless video for more than 1 mile !!!

Go to HobbyWireless wesite and search for FPV200, I can not put the link here, beacuse youtube does not accept links on the comments.

  • Nice one! Sense of humour too, look forward to more..

  • Fantastic, and theres even an little airspeed clock (Or is it altitude?) Anyway, brilliant video.

  • Thank you guys.

It is a micro digital altimeter, it records the whole flight data, and then I plug it to an USB port and see the whole chart, very cool.

  • Nice vid...

  • Very C00L!

  • Awsome!!! : D

  • Thanx !!!!

  • Thank you guys for all the comments, I apologize for the delay to respond, you can buy everything from HobbyWireless . com , a store especialized on Micro Wireless video systems, I am very happy with my system, I have gone 2 miles distance at 2500' feet altitude, and clear video, my airplane transmitter prevents me to go further.

  • 2500'? I thought AMA told you to stay under 400 feet?

  • actually the rule states that you are not allowed to exceed 400 feet if you are within 3 miles of any airfield. If you are not within a 3 mile radius of any airfield then there is an exception

  • Yep, you are right AMA regulates the max altitude of 400' for RC models, which is plenty for must models and FPV pilots.

But the video of 2500' was not in USA territory, in fact I made another flight where I went about 3300' 1000 meters high with weak video signal reception.

  • yo, how are you moving the onboard camera? and ps some one down there thought you were flying a real plane... look at the shadow in the beginning...

  • Fantastic! I love the sound effects Keep up the good work.

  • Very well done...congrats... i would sure like to see your set-up

  • This is awesome! Never flew b4! Only on large, commercial, passenger planes. I wanna fly in one of these!

  • Excellent video. Loved the sound effects. And cockpit added to your Easystar fpv ship. Too bad 'Easys' dont have spoilers, you would've been right on him!

  • this is a FOOKIN ace model, thought it was a full size at first coz o that LCD u got, man mint lookin instrument panel, buzzin :D

  • Wait, after watching it it's just sound affects... I thought so haha sorry for the dumb question.

  • Thought Easystar was an electric motor, did you put gas in yours?

  • hey can you tell me all the stats of this beutifull plane? i can clearly see its an easystar with a new paintjob, but im very intrested in your reciever and transmitter, is the headset its own transmitter for the camera? and what is the little electronic gauge on the dashboard? please help me out! take care! =]

  • GREAT!!!

  • its not good ı you...?

  • How on earth do you move the camera around while flying? Any pics of the setup?

  • Sorry, I was not able to reply guys, I've been busy with some other stuff. I use a head tracker connected to my radio control, and I have two servos moving the camera.

  • Can you elaborate on this? Is it a whole separate receiver or does it use 2 free channels on your existing one? How are your pan/tilt servos mounted? What "head tracker" do you use? This is all very cool and I want to look into it =)

  • What kind of camera do you have? I'm looking into getting a wireless cam for 1st person flight. Also, what did you use to turn your camera when flying? Any type of gyro, or just another thumbstick?

  • Are those planes actually dogfighting?

  • Kind, sort of. Not really, just flying. :-)

  • oh, ok. because I thought you had one of those laser systems that simulate engine trouble when the plane gets hit.

  • That's was a really nice job !!!

I am looking foward to see The Revenge.
