I had an idea for this movie, but then I found this video :(

My movie had Steve as a detective who solved crimes with his dog, Blue (bloodhound) and a serial killer he's following kidnaps Blue. So Steve has to follow his dogs clues to find him. This video has a much deeper plot and I think it would work a lot better.

I"m in film school currently learning about all of this stuff. And I've seen A LOT of student films. This is pretty damn good. And from a screenwriting standpoint, it's exceptional. Brilliant exposition for the most part, and I love the way everything from the show is slid in so that it feels natural (as natural as it can in a spoof.) Very creative. Nice Job.

i really didn't like this very much. acting ruined what punchlines there may have been, the lighting and cinematography (except for the opening few shots) really sucked. Just goes to show you have to have something BETTER than just a concept to make something good.

We are very proud of this, and maybe with this attention we can figure out a way to afford to make our movies as good as our concepts. :)

My suggestions are make sure you have the exposure set properly if you have the right kind of camera for that. if you only have an auto exposure option, make sure that you aren't pointed at any exterior windows or weird light sources.
