@Michkuty With computer models you can prove that 9/11 never happened, or that it happened but was caused by GW Bush. But, you can also model the world with ordinary language - as most of us do - and "prove" that 9/11 never happened, etc.
But, that doesn't change the fact that computer models are INFINITELY more accurate about making predictions than dumb human prose, because unlike human prose, computer models can incorporate ALL variables, AND do so in a LOGICALLY CONSISTENT WAY.

If the world were powered by wind alone the earth would slow in its rotation and weather patterns would change dramatically. If you take all the kinetic energy out of the air it would definitely harm the environment. Solar is not free in the sense that you need to still allow plants to grow. If we powered the world on solar power alone we'd run the risk of covering up too much of the surface of the earth....

I also know that solar panels don't use the same wavelengths that plants do. You fail to realize that solar panels aren't transparent i guess. If you put a plant under a solar panel it won't get any light. Guess you aren't smart enough to realize this.
@jib1000 Umm by putting thousands of wind turbines on few hectares of land doesn't do anything, the effect is localized. Imagine that after you made that stupid claim I read and guess what? It says the effect is localized. And even if this was the case, it would have a very small implications on the speed of rotation. Besides I don't think the speed of wind changes much after turning those turbines? Its like saying the speed of water is gonna decrease after it runs through hydro turbine?

Go look at any wind power site. There are several organizations that are against wind power due to their effect on the weather and huge megawatt per acre cost in land area.

@Michkuty ...If solar panels were more efficient then maybe we'd be able to power the planet, but at the moment solar is one of the least efficient power sources out there. Absorbing to much of the sun's rays from the earths surface would also reduce global temperatures and change weather patterns.
Only nuclear fusion or orbiting solar stations are going to be able to power the planet without harming it.

@Michkuty With computer models you can prove that 9/11 never happened, or that it happened but was caused by GW Bush. But, you can also model the world with ordinary language - as most of us do - and "prove" that 9/11 never happened, etc.
But, that doesn't change the fact that computer models are INFINITELY more accurate about making predictions than dumb human prose, because unlike human prose, computer models can incorporate ALL variables, AND do so in a LOGICALLY CONSISTENT WAY.

Its free to look up and you wouldn't have to pay anyone to build another tower, the problem is that it doesn't work. If it did work you'd see them everywhere. If the world were powered by wind alone the earth would slow in its rotation and weather patterns would change dramatically. If you take all the kinetic energy out of the air it would definitely harm the environment. Solar is not free in the sense that you need to still allow plants to grow. If we powered the world on solar power alone we'd run the risk of covering up too much of the surface of the earth....

I also know that solar panels don't use the same wavelengths that plants do. You fail to realize that solar panels aren't transparent i guess. If you put a plant under a solar panel it won't get any light. Guess you aren't smart enough to realize this.

It says the effect is localized. And even if this was the case, it would have a very small implications on the speed of rotation. Besides I don't think the speed of wind changes much after turning those turbines? Its like saying the speed of water is gonna decrease after it runs through hydro turbine?

Go look at any wind power site. There are several organizations that are against wind power due to their effect on the weather and huge megawatt per acre cost in land area.

@Michkuty ...If solar panels were more efficient then maybe we'd be able to power the planet, but at the moment solar is one of the least efficient power sources out there. Absorbing to much of the sun's rays from the earths surface would also reduce global temperatures and change weather patterns.
Only nuclear fusion or orbiting solar stations are going to be able to power the planet without harming it.

I think the band, Tesla, wrote a song about the inventor, Tesla, and if I recall, it's about 10000 times better than the cheesy track in this trailer. And Tesla was a C level rock band. That's how truly awful this documentary song is.

What does it matter where a man comes from if his intent is to make peoples lives easier, especially the lives of the poor of the world. Sure, Tesla had an ego and OCDish idiosyncracies, don't we all? But Teslas biggest crime was that he had no interest in money. He wanted to share his innovations.....for free!! that's what made him a crackpot in the eyes of the oligarchs. But it was the fear that Tesla could've been right (regardless of whether he was or not) that had him sent into obscurity.

I would not be surprised if Tesla was influenced by idea of Zeitgeist- he lived and worked in german spoken world, was a poet and philosopher of sort himself.

When I saw the first movie, to discredit Jesus the way they did was, I thought, very deceiving.
