I hate the way they cut PT Boomer from this film. He adds a certain amount of tension to the film that would have made it better. If Lots-O-Huggin-Bear made it into the final cut of Toy Story 3, then PT Boomer should have made it into the final cut of this film.

I remember watching the "original" version of this movie at eight and I flipped out, Thomas on the big screen. Ten years later, I see this and I'm... shocked. We actually missed out on a whole sequence. I've lost contact with Thomas now, so maybe someone can update me on what the significance of this character, P.T. @Thomasfanfilms Here's how I look at it: this movie is dumbed down and americanized. Thomas's target audience was always older kids, while this movie's target audience is very young kids, and it shows. The acting is lame, the effects were lame, the voices for certain engines didn't fit, and the plot was just terrible. Also, there was no reason to mix Shining Time into the movie. That made it even worse. Thomas was never the same after seasons 1-4. By the way, I hated this movie when it came out.

PT Boomer is a villian from the original Director's cut of TATMR, he was cut due to idiotic complaints from a bunch of soccer moms thinking it would scare the children. So the movie's final cut was nonsensical..... It was the actual movie, it was just slaughtered horribly!

I thought I'd note a few extra things in this deleted chase scene.

1. After Burnett starts Lady, there is an extra scene showing the side view of lady, Thomas and Diesel 10 as well as a closeup shot of Mr. Conductor sayin"Watch out for the viaduct!."

2. During some parts, there are extra scenes of Thomas behind view as well as a lady behind view after Mr.C shouts the warning.

3. At 1:33 there's an extended scene of Diesel 10 passing through the tunnel.
