This is actually a fluke. Pressing the square button does not slow down the reels but rather do minor pauses for each frame. What he is saying is true but the reels never slow down. They are always moving at the same speed. You pressing the square button repeatedly is only acts as an illusion that they are slowing down.

Yes with LOTS of time and practice you can master and get everything you want. This also works with the battle arena as well

@Spiralmark It's a programming concept. It's a variable that has only two possible values (true or false in languages with booleans) and normally triggers something when it is set from false to true or vice versa. In this case getting two of the same symbol sets the flag to true and triggers the third reel to not stop when it should.

Great now i wont have any problem using tifas maxed great weels on all the slots.

And something else if your tired of doing what she/he did you can just download an epsxe wich everyone does and save on the slots in that way you will allways get what you want :D

thanks for this video garland im currently trying to get game over but i can so far only get the first 2 and the 3rd is always evading me unless i am going for another slot >< im playing this on a psp and its even easier to get the first two slots thanks to the psp's home button which stops the reels completely while showing them to you

If you like things for mindless stats in a final fantasy game (i.e. like using that horrible Fang in FFXIII) then you are playing it wrong, play a different game or don't be so mindlessly addicted you need to take any challenge out of a game because you've looked to much into useless things like perfecting cait siths slots (this was on my suggested section and i wondered who uses this annoying character).

Its not affected by the number of times you use Dice, you have to kill 40 enemies with him to get it ^^

My god, could it be that there was a mysterious other reason they were down rated? Sniper on the grassgnole? Aliens in new mexico? Penut butter in my chocolate? On Bizzaro Sephiroth.

It was a happy day for me.

Then I used slots on Safer Sephiroth.

The Evil Flag itself is rather dirty I think. If I get a combination right, moving the slot over one shows that it's quite clearly rigged.
