  • Good on him. Any guards that work on a two up post should take it in turns at sleeping. The only mistake is he shouldnt sleep at his desk, he should find a queit couch somewhere and have a good nap.

  • talk about sitting on job or should i say sleeping on the job are guard post and sit down guards

  • The client probably wants more for their money. Try unionizing for once.

  • this guy looks like a snitch!

  • Security guards are a big joke. They're more pathetic than Al Bundy the shoe salesman from Married...with children.

  • In private security you get what you pay for - Pay $9.00 for an officer, one will get the same amount of work.

  • haha love how you sssjj the camera

  • I'm a Security Guard and I get paid to play PSP games and dick around on my Android phone all night. The pay isn't that great but I like the low stress and the freedom to do whatever I want.

  • @TPCrisis Man who do you work for? I want a job there.

  • hey dummie u can get fired too u taping it instead of waking him up then you gonna put the evidents on you tube

  • @horror780 rofl. He said that he put this video up almost an entire year after they both quit the job. You can't get fired if you already quit.

  • I hope a future employer doen't see this.

  • This is awesome!!! I've fallen asleep like that before. The trick is to find a hideout and keep your portable on blast so you hear it when they radio you. And another thing, security guards do not make good money for what is expected of them. It's a low paying and thankless job. Trust me, I know! And just when you think things are getting good, the company loses the contract to a lower bidder. Aww rats!

  • how do people sleep like that? i need a bed or no sleep.

  • @dmi3011 You get really tired you will find ways to get some sleep. I spent many nights catching some sleep while standing /leaning against a wall.

  • @dmi3011

I used to be a security supervisor in a console room and had a video camera behind my chair going to a monitor in my manager's office. With just a little practice, I could fall asleep sitting straight up, and from the view behind me it looked like I was fully alert. I guess I was being lazy, but my boss and most of my subordinates were such a crazy bunch of retarded assholes, I just couldn't take much pride in that job.

  • hey being a security guard is easy but when you have to do it for 120 hours a check and go to school on top of that its hard and no not all guards get 11-15 an hour its more like 9-12 an hour hell i sleep a fair amount but i dont pass out for hours at a time maybe 15 min naps just so i dont pass out for like 3 hours solid and yes just looking a a screen can become heard if you do it for 8+ hours its not like you watching a movie or playing a game your looking at the same thing day in and day out

  • fired?

  • I think this is fake. Sleeping with your head on your shoulders is extremely uncomfortable. Unless he's dead tired.

  • Ok a couple of things..

1st of all.. "motostar101" Thats fucking priceless! lmao.

2nd of all.. Guards do NOT make min wage and if they do they should know that most places pay 10-15 bucks an hours.

And 3rd... This D-BAG obviously filmed his CO-WORKER to kiss his bosses ass and try to get a raise/promotion. What a dick!

  • Like I tell all my Officers, "As long as you are sleep you still have a job"

  • Im a Security Officer and i must say this is the "NORM" getting Paid $12 an hour for this is sweet...until you get busted !

  • Haha I fell asleep on post one time and the boss man caught me and asked what the hell I was doing. I was half asleep and just said the first thing that came to mind. Which was, I was praying. He and another officer fell over laughing.

  • Just so everybody knows:

Security guards make minimum wage. In order to make a decent living and pay the rent and bills, they have to pull very very long shifts. THey often work double shifts. The security guard company bills the clients about 35-30 dollars per hour and pays the guards about 8-10 dollars. It wouldn't surprise me if this guard worked all night long and then into the next day for under 100 dollars. You gonna blame him for sleeping? Should he really put his heart into it?

  • @makinawdandy6699 Thats what happens when youre on contract pay. Thats one of the reasons WHY im glad I left security long ago, not to mention how you are treated like crap by the client, workers, outsiders you name it. People just take you and your uniform and piss all over it. Im surprised im not have been in jail and my chances of being a guard being thrown out forever for ASSULT because of the crap & abuse I have taken over the years from alot of people that treated me like a DOOR-MAT!

  • @makinawdandy6699 i would sleep too for 10 bucks an hour... screw that!

  • Getting pay for sleeping is kinda cool. being a security guard is easy.

  • lazy bastard

  • I think sleeping on the job and getting paide is one of the cushiest jobs you can find. I want to be paid to do my homework, and if I did academic research while on the job, I can get paid as a researcher AND as a security guard simultaneously double dipping in the hours.

  • Most students do that as a matter of fact, but depending on the sites you work at, alot of the time you don't have time to sit around and do nothing... The old days of the security guard sitting aroung on a chair asleep are pretty much over!!

  • no theyre not just apply to places like wackenhut, securitas or allied barton lol

  • No, i think instead he would have lost his job since most security are contract security and something like sleeping is the most serious thing to do. The same falls on his college. They are working together, one day tehy may need to back each other up. If he didnt loose his job this will fuck that guy up for a long time. A snitch (grass)

  • no actually, we weren't "contract security guards". we worked directly thru the resort. and no one lost their jobs, as i didn't post this until almost an entire year after we had both already quit the job and were already working in different fields.

  • also, for such a famous 5 star resort, the security was a joke. out of 10 security guards on that shift, only 1 actually had a security license. the rest of us just roamed the night with the keys to every door on property and did whatever the hell we wanted. lmao

  • In house is better then Contract. I know with In House you are better protected then Contract.

I've been in that guys position before but the guy taking my video showed it to the supervisor. The joke was on him since I was on my lunch break at the time.

  • HAHAHA

  • nice to see a pro at work

  • another Guardsmark officer hard at work

  • if only he was brought back to reality with a rude awakening, lol.....where is that??

  • you should have scared him outta his sleep

    now that would be enjoyable
