He's not even HALF as loud as my green cheeked conure! (could that be because my conure has an underbite?)

Suns are the most gentle parrots out there,however I want to shoot mine when she starts yapping. It's like Chinese torture.They are the best !

He looks like a Sun-Day, part Jendays and part sun conure.
My jendays is very loud. I can hear her greet me when I pull in to the driveway and thehouse is closed up!

i taught my conure to whistle 4 different ways its pretty easy he makes the sounds i taught him when he want to leave the cage or he's hungry or another bird escaped lol... yea hes like an alarm. lol

I want one so bad, but my mom says no loud birds. I don't think Petey is that loud, I've heard other Sun's that were wayyyy louder than he sounds. Thanks for the video clip of him, he's sooo beautiful!! I have heard they can talk a little. My bird is a Yellow Sided Green Cheek Conure, and he can be loud.

yeah, sun conures arent really notable talkers, but you can train them to talk quite a bit
