@handcannon3329 No You are 100% wrong. The bosses are there for their own individual reasons. for instance Lyka committed a grave sin so the goddess of time placed him in the flame zone hoping that the flames of time would wipe away his sin. The monks are there as guards to the ToT not serving under F7. Pink Been is from Versal, most likely where the Black mage has been all these years. Notice how this whole thing ties into NLC. Read the storyline from NLC and about the Black mage things tie in.

@handcannon3329 Well if you've done all the quests, you learn that the twisted masters are from versal, so are all the monsters from the castle. Naricain and Subani play some important part but because Nexon has been failing for 3 years now, we still don't have all of the plot. From the quests you also learn that the only way to fix this whole problem, is to go to Versal (it's hinted in the quests.) Honestly, as maple is now its a whole bunch of patch work based on an unstable foundation.

@fusionfaller09 Sigh~ see this is the main problem, up until a few years ago they actually meant to have diverging story lines that fit more with the player environment then the actual game, then Nexon's greedy business people thought of combining the story to pay less to developers and then the Maplestory anime came out and *voila* we have a mismatched patched story that has no real beginning or end. Don't get me wrong maple now is fun to play but looking at the story its shit.
