  • RIP Herwig!! :(

  • @webkinz08100 Hedwig. How disrespectful :P

  • I LOVED Harry Potter and the Daethly Hallows part 1, but the only thing I'm a bit deceived about is that they didn't show the part when Harry takes Mad-Eye's eye off Umbridge's office's door and then buries it in the forest. It was a great honor to Mad-Eye and it was very touching also because this eye is what caracterises him but also, it is the only part left of him, for his body wasn't found anywhere. Rest In Peace, Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody.

  • @animekitten789 dont forget bellatrix lestrange.

  • BOO :(

  • this soundtrack is grate..

  • I love the soundtrack :-) Cannot wait to see the DH movies !

  • @journalistgirl07 You haven't see them yet?

  • @horaciosi Yep, I havent. And am looking forward to it, although I heard some opinions that the both movies were not that good. But, to put an 700+ pages book into a movie is always pretty problematic thing.

  • anyone else yelling "why JK, why didd hedwig have to die?" or is it just me?

  • I wish there was a memory eraser machine so I could go back and watch this for the first time all over again.

  • I cried at the end of the last movie

  • 3:03: Voldemort: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! *SWOOSH SWOOSH* *LIGHTNING!*

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo Cry** 2:12

  • freakin awesome violin part.

  • 1:02 Batman? No seriously, every time I come to that part in the score I think "Batman".

Ah, to be a kid of the 90s...

  • @aryllia Best. Decade. Ever

  • Who else thinks this would make *fantastic* music for (Nolan's) Batman?

  • @Emper0rH0rde I don't think it would've worked for Batman... But I always DO think "Damn, these scores sounds veeeeeery similar".

  • @Emper0rH0rde Oh hell yes. Desplat is an incredibly underrated action composer (especially for something like the new Batman). Zimmer is good, but his work for Nolan is incredibly generic. Nolan doesn't like music to help complement his wonderful films, just background noise.

  • @mcjwserenity I agree with the first sentence.

  • @mcjwserenity Listen to Largo Winch, Desplat wrote some great action music there.

  • Real magic isn't levitating different objects or causing someone pain or making canaries appear out of thin air. Real magic isn't in Diagon Alley or Hogwarts or in the Ministry of Magic. The real magic lies within Alexandre Desplat's music, music that can make a person feel whole, can make people fall in love, induce calm dreams and help various creatures let go of their anger. Listening to his scores makes me want to cry and laugh and save the world all at once.

  • @Tuduvant ya we know that

  • @Tuduvant That is a very majestic way to describe well composed music!

  • 9 people didn't have a childhood

  • This sounds so fun to play :)

  • 9 people didn't get their letter and couldn't join The Battle of Hogwarts!

  • @manubz25 those 9 people have sense.

  • @manubz25 12

  • Whenever i hear this i get up and start doing fast, powerful strides across the room.... Is that normal? ^___^

  • @VegetarianDinosaur1

I do that every time I imagine an action secuence that fits a song I'm listening at the time.

  • I miss Mad Eye ;(

  • 3:00 NYEAAHHHHH....!!!!!

  • Wait.. this is by Alexandre Desplat? lol, Potterheads, he made a score for one of the Twilight movies as well. LONG LIVE IRONY </3

  • @dreasmile To add to your irony...Howard Shore, who wrote the soundtracks for Lord of the Rings and I believe is also working on the Hobbit, also did the soundtrack for Eclipse lol. I guess this proves that not even these two musical geniuses could keep the Twilight movies from sucking horse tits. I will also add that if John Williams did the score for Breaking Dawn, the amount of irony explosion would equate to 1 million nuclear bombs...and to be perfectly frank, that's bad lol.

  • @dreasmile Why is that irony?

  • @daz1499 There just seems to be a 'fight' between Potterheads and Twihards. You know, actually everyone is hating on Twilight, lol. So I thought it was pretty sarcastic that it was the same person that made scores for both movies.

  • @dreasmile Desplat is a Harry Potter fan.

  • @yonythemoony Ironic that Potterheads and Twihards are fighting then.

  • @dreasmile Yeah. But, Twilight always copied Harry Potter.

  • @yonythemoony What do you mean copied? It's two completely different movies, I don't get why you even should compare them. Is it because Twilight became more popular than HP at the award shows? (no offence intended lol)

  • @dreasmile Divide the last book into two films, the "worldwide phenomenon" slogan, the teaser poster as a background, and the release date of Breaking Dawn Part 1 it's the same as Deathly Hallows part 1, and Sorcerer's stone.

  • @yonythemoony Well, that's just because the last books were both really long. And the "worldwide phenomenon" has been used really often, seriously. But I don't get the part with the Sorcerer's *cough* philosopher's stone.

  • @dreasmile The Philosopher Stone was released on November 18th. Now 10 years later Breaking Dawn. And people who has read the Twilight books (real fans, not stupid teens) says that the last book is awful and doesn't deserve to be divided into two films. It was another attempt to copy HP's sucess.

  • @yonythemoony That's not planned. It's not the only movie released on the date, take it easy girl. Perhaps it was an attempt to copy, actually I don't really care, but I have actually read all the books, and I think it deserves to be divided, since there's a whole bunch of shit in it that's too much for just one movie.. :) And true, it's pretty awful.

  • @dreasmile Who said I'm a girl?

  • @yonythemoony Who said you weren't *lol*

  • @cahtah97 YOUR awesome .

  • So, I woke up to this song for my alarm this morning, and it scared the shit out of me. I thought Voldemort was in my room.

  • makes me want to burst into flames and fly away

  • 3:08-3:20 i love that part :) but that's not harry potter music :/

  • 3:01 ''Begun the NNYEEAAAHHH screams has''

    See what I did there?

  • @erzan master yodi you quote a bit yes?

oh you didnt intended to? sorry then.

  • me suena a STAR WARS n_n

  • 3:01 NYAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

  • 2:14-Hedwig's death/Voldemort's motif from movies 1 & 2 :]

  • this reminds me of the lost of Hedwig and the Firebolt but she and the broom were avenged in May 1998

  • @JACKMAN9988 Yeah I wish Harry had gotten his Firebolt back. That was a very expensive broom given to him by his Godfather. He should have gotten it back somehow.

  • @Lizfan2 Accio would have been a great way but..... shit happens

  • @JACKMAN9988 The problem is they were in the middle of a battle so he couldn't use Accio anyway. & I think he was too despondant over Hedwig's & Madeye's deaths to care later. Besides it's probably safe to assume that one of the Death Eaters stole it & used some charm on it to prevent Harry from trying to get it back.

  • @Lizfan2 actually Harry's trunk, Hedwig and the Firebolt are all gone. they've exploded into tiny pieces.

i feel mad eye should have died with a big battle though, but i did expect him to die

  • @JACKMAN9988 Harry didn't lose his trunk. Not in the book anyway.

  • @Lizfan2 thats what i think i read cuz i mean he didnt carry much the entire journey

  • @JACKMAN9988 That's because everything he had he most likely kept in Hermione's magically expanded small purse(she used the undetectable extension charm, remember?).

  • @Lizfan2 the point is he lost a lot of stuff

  • @JACKMAN9988 He didn't have a lot of stuff in his rucksack to begin with.

  • @Lizfan2 well thats what i meant, besides the rucksack was just in case he lost his trunk , which he did

    ill check it out

  • @JACKMAN9988 He didn't have his trunk. He never took his trunk. At least not in the book. Maybe in the movie he did. I'd have to watch it again.

  • 2:14 :'(

  • Wait how'd hedwig die in the book

  • @TheModernwaffle In the book, if I remember correctly, she was in her cage at the bottom of the carrier thing harry was flying in and the death eater that was chasing him and Hagrid missed the avada kadavra spell and hit hedwig, killing her. I think O.o

  • @TheModernwaffle She was in her cage during the flight and Avada Kedavra hit her (possibly by accident). In the book, Harry's use of Expelliarmus gives him away instead of Hedwig trying to defend him, because the Death Eaters recognise it as his signature spell.

  • @TheModernwaffle she was still in her cage and Shunpike shot the killing curse, Harry didnt want to believe she was dead so he held on to her but then the part of the bike Harry was on fell and exploded when it landed on the streets below. if she wasnt dead before she is now

  • I prefer the way they got rid of Hedwig in the movie. At least she and Harry were getting along and she was trying to help him.....what a brave owl...RIP Hedwig

  • how dare they kill the owl! WTF!!! they just HAD to kill that owl!!! the job wasn't complete until that owl was dead!! stupid idiots....

  • @cocacola1420 Blame J.K. Rowling. She's the one who wrote Hedwig's death into the story.

  • @Lizfan2 no you can't blame JK Rowling for anything...she made harry potter!!!

  • @cocacola1420 Yeah but she killed off Hedwig & Fred.

  • @cocacola1420

    I hate Stan Shunpike

  • @Agusloquillo Stan was under the Imperious curse at the time. It's not his fault.

  • this is real homework and study music, for the real kids of the REAL harry potter world.

  • Hedwig poor Owl!

  • Hedwig T_T

  • 2:12 NOOOO!!!! HEDWIGG!!!!!!1

  • @luigihrhp1177 this scene is so sad :'(

  • NNNNNNYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • instead of making everyone harry, why not just make Harry into somebody else?

  • @PotterSuccess because it was obvious if you see another person (unknown person) getting out of Privet drive, that it was him-

  • @lalakmi23 so the death eater recognize all member of the order?

  • it was amazing to see the series evolve from this innocent 11 year old orphan boy and his best friends to a 17 year old hero who has gone through much suffering and seen horrible things.....i recently watched all of the harry potter movies in a weekend and to see it go from such a low key, innocent movie to violence and torture was awing....to go through that even as an actor in the movie must have been life-changing...

  • 2:13 - Hedwig dies :'(

    R.I.P

  • 1:50 to 2:10 LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

    =)

  • best part is when we can hear hedwig's theme .. so powerful <3

  • Also reminds me of Batman, loves these dark tunes >:D

  • This kinda sounds like Star Wars o_o

  • i like the OoTP soundtrack, part 1 and part 2 soundtrack.

  • The end sounds like it's from A New Hope XD

  • I love the dynamics of this piece, and the quick, smooth transitions. One second it's very loud, and almost in-your-face. The next, it's very dark, very haunting. Probably my favorite piece from the film. Alexandre Desplat did well.

  • I wanna make love to this track

  • Rowling is the better writer, so fudge Twilight.

  • the 8 dislikes thank you for giveibng us more views!

  • 8 people hate hedwig i hope those 8 people get avala kadabrad by voldemort or there parents

  • @MrTomtubes

uhm, don't u mean avada kedavra instead of avala kadabra?

    XD

    just saying!

  • @magoruthehedgehog lol nice xD

  • Is harry potter addictive ? Because if it is, i think i should have made an appointment to see a doctor years ago !

  • hedwigs theme at 1:52 :)

  • @heason

    nooooooo...

    really?

i would have NEVER thought of THAT

  • @magoruthehedgehog I wasn't saying it was a remarkable thing to pick up on you ass hat, just that it was a really sick manipulation of that motif.

  • @heason

whoa, dude, i didn't mean to start a fight or something!

i was just playing around a bit...

  • stop trashing on twilight. you guys are just trashing on twilight because the two films have the same composer or whatever its called. just because they have the same composer or whatever, doesnt mean you have to pick sides. I mean, look at me. you do know that its possible to like more than one movie thats based on a book.

  • @imPuffinWithBilly i dont trash on twilight because Im picking sides or because it has the same composer. i trash on it cuz twilight is retarded and nothing compared to a story as superb as Harry potter

  • Hedwig :'(

  • ECLIPSE WON FAVORITE MOVIE?! NYEEAAAHHHHHHHHHH

  • @CuriousGeorgeMonkey9 because loser 12 year old girl twilight fans are the only people who care enough to vote for MTV

  • @CTUAlmeida7 The MTV Movie Awards are a travesty. Nothing more, nothing less. What's even more despicable is the fact that the first "Twilight" movie beat out "The Dark Knight" for Favorite Movie in 2008.

  • @CuriousGeorgeMonkey9 couldnt agree more. Any awards show that puts Twilight and Dark Knight in the same category is a disgrace

  • @CTUAlmeida7 "The Dark Knight" presents audiences with intense action sequences, superb dialogue, extraordinary special effects, fascinating characters, excellent direction, and a relevant moralistic puzzle. "Twilight" is yet another tale of romantic complications pushed forward by terrible dialogue by fairly wooden actors. I could get that on TV any day of the week.

  • @CTUAlmeida7 "Deathly Hallows - Part 2" is currently at a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes! This could be the best film in the series!

  • @CuriousGeorgeMonkey9

i totally agree with you.Twilights a load of shite. The Dark Knight kicks Twilights ass

  • 3:00 Voldemort's NYEAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I just realized something grand......It was Hagrid who introduced Hedwig to Harry. That day in Diagon Alley, a pact was formed. Therefore it only seems fitting that Hagrid take Harry out of Little Whinging and Hedwig defend her master to the end. The three were together one last time:) ......Hedwig, you will be remembered. As for you Harry, finish the feud with voldemort the way it started and give us fans the thrill of a lifetime.

  • Stephanie Meyer made 8 accounts to dislike this.

  • @SailorLilys and j.k rowling made 385 accounts to like this and i'm proud to claim responsible for giving her the idea

  • If you haven't read the books, 2:12 is a very fast and sad surprise.

  • i love the harry potter film music!!!

  • R.I.P Hedwig and Mad-Eye! :'(

  • this music is BRILLIANT!!!!

  • R.I.P Hedwig :'( Your anthem will live on around the world!

  • I think the best composer for the HP films was Patrick Doyle. Haters gon' hate :P

  • the only part i din't like about the movie was they left out lily's letter :(

  • Comment removed

  • I'm gonna miss Mad eye :(
