This was originally recorded and released on the Peter Pan label {and most likely on Synthetic Plastics' "Prom" label as well} in 1953, at the time Ray Anthony's original version was a hit- and was continuously reissued- on 45 and LP- for years. The cover for this LP release was rendered by George Peed, who drew most of their album covers during the '70s and '80s [he also designed the characters for Joe Oriolo's "THE MIGHTY HERCULES" TV cartoon series in 1963].
Though the cover was done by George Peed, it's actually an enlarged re-print from the 45 paper jacket "Here We Go Looby Loo" (#566).
