I ended up purchasing the camera myself, I am very happy with it! I am saddened by its 1 and 2 second capture rate maximum for timelapse, but would like to know how to modify it?? Where did you hear about this? Please share, I am interested! I don't know why this feature is not more robust on this camera as it is, or why its a hard feature to find on any camera. I do love my G9 though!
Cool! I am interested in purchasing this camera, but am confused to its time lapse settings... Does it only do 1 and 2 second intervals? Can I do longer intervals? I am looking for a camera that will do time lapse, its a neat way to show the changes that are always happening around us!
Hey Sean, I have this camera. Unfortunately, it's timelapse ability is restricted to only 1" or 2" intervals and it's 'video' meaning you won't get the separate frames and is rendered as the 640x480 standard video size :( There is a mod for the Canon cams though (CHDK) where one day it might be possible to custom-assign time lapse values with the actual camera, not camcorder so we can do HD timelapses by getting the RAW/JPG frames.
Read the comments on this video it is like a bunch of retards are talking to each other. What else is Timelapse used for? Are you stupid? Search timelapse and get an education and for the retards about audio capture...wow it is a still frame add the audio in editing software.

I´ll buy this camera. For what else can this feature be used, apart from watching clouds and slug racings?

LOL slug racings.

I have another idea: I´ll buy a computer with 1,2 GHz, play "Juiced" and capture that! ;)
