The person doesn't even have to be a relative. It can be a friend. For instance, I happen to dedicate this song to my sixth grade math teacher. She was my favorite teacher. This promotional push by U2 is actually a two fold push, firstly into the semi-established u2 music market in the UK and secondly to enrapture a new generation. (ie 12 year olds plus). Some people in the uk like u2 but most are unaffected, for me this is a sign of not having listened and old style anti irish sentiment (dead thank god!). I am irish but i have spent some years in the uk. anyway it seems to have worked if you look at the amount of u2 uk websites that have appeared since 2004. PEACE
