Husker fan here & in all honesty, I don't think there is another football program that has more tradition than Alabama football. You guys pride yourselves in tradition & Alabama is the only other program other than Nebraska's program that has fans that support their team in down periods.

Bama's one of the best football programs in the land. Remember they were the firsts in the entirely south to beat a powerhouse from the north. They were also the firsts to claim a national champs after beating in the Rose Bowl a powerhouse from the West, and one of the best coaches in the history, Bear Bryant, was at the helm for a legendary tenure. 12 nat' champs, 21 SEC titles, 56 bowls appearances are their résumé... and still some morons ask themselfs if Bama is or was ever a good program?

(Arkansas was not in the SEC at the time) Many of these teams we played more than once like Penn State, USC, Miami, etc.

Bear Bryant was never scared of any team he played. Why didn't he try to sway from playing Nebreska in the 1971 orange bowl (they lost 38-6)? Bryant would schedual very hard to play teams for Alabama to play. Everything from playing Nebreska in Lincoln, and Notre Dame in South Bend, showed Bryant wasn't afraid of playing tough teams.

Husker fan here & in all honesty, I don't think there is another football program that has more tradition than Alabama football. You guys pride yourselves in tradition & Alabama is the only other program other than Nebraska's program that has fans that support their team in down periods.
I really thought that 2010 was gonna be the year that the Crimson Tide went back-to-back, but the SEC is a damn hard conference.

oklahoma started intro videos at least a decade ago and now everyone has intro videos. mlb copied the "one" theme from ou intro videos....."theres only 1 oklahoma". mlb changed it to "theres only 1 october" years later.

Bama's one of the best football programs in the land. Remember they were the firsts in the entirely south to beat a powerhouse from the north. Alabama has never been a good program. Even when you had Bear Bryant and considered yourselves a powerhouse, nobody else did. You guys consistently had the most garbage schedule possible, which is why the voters sometimes gave national championships to other teams with one loss when Bama was undefeated.
Good season in 2008 except for the fact that you ended on a losing streak.

What are you talking about? That's why in the '70s we played teams like USC, Penn State, and Notre Dame. We have a winning record against EVERY SINGLE SEC team, the most SEC championships, and most bowl appearances / victories.
Now Florida, however, has only been relevant for the past 20 years.
Alabama vs. Florida will decide the SEC for many years to come in my opinion. Saban vs. Meyer should be a helluva matchup.

We played USC, Virginia Tech, Houston, Miami (FL), Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Texas, Maryland, FSU, TCU, Missouri, Clemson, Washington, Penn State, Louisville, UCLA, Ohio State, Georgia Tech, Baylor, and Arkansas. (Arkansas was not in the SEC at the time) Many of these teams we played more than once like Penn State, USC, Miami, etc.

probably because you're one of them. the fact of the matter is that everybody knows texas tech always schedules ridiculous cupcake teams at the start of their season to get ranked and then fizzles out in conf play (last year was an exception). alabama used to be that way, except exceedingly worse. that's why they would oftentimes go undefeated but a one loss team would win the championship instead. learn some history.

Bear Bryant was never scared of any team he played. Why didn't he try to sway from playing Nebreska in the 1971 orange bowl (they lost 38-6)? Bryant would schedual very hard to play teams for Alabama to play. Everything from playing Nebreska in Lincoln, and Notre Dame in South Bend, showed Bryant wasn't afraid of playing tough teams.

I'm sure there are some highlights during the 9 year win streak we had over auburn. go win some national titles and then talk shit dumbass. auburn recently tied Georgia tech in sec titles and the last one they won was in 53. Gotta feel good about the team you are bragging about.
