He is always embarassed by comments regarding how handsome he is - but it is a fact and a marketing asset - he should be proud. This fact does not diminish his talent but attracts fans. Morten uses that Everly guitar more than anyother he owns. It was said at one time that he and Phil were going to do something together, but it never happened. Recording "Crying In The Rain" was a tribute and a thank you to the Everly's. Phil has always liked A-HA's version of the song, while Don has not. There are many pictures of A-HA, especially Morten at a Everly Brothers concert in 1985 in Los Angeles where he has his backstage pass on. Thank you so much for this wonderful, wonderful video

Yes, he is and a beautiful 49 at that. He looks and sounds wonderful in this video.The man does not age, at least not like normal people! I love this song & I think I like this version better than the original. That is an Everly guitar he is using (Phil & his sons make the guitars). However they received those before they recorded "Crying In The Rain". Terry Slater A-HA's manager was also Phil's friend & manager before The Everly's got back together in 1984. They met the Everly's through Terry.

I beleve that that is the guitar Morten got from the Everly Brothers after a-ha recorded a cover of Crying in the Rain, back in 1990. Paul and Magne got one of these guitars each too
