thats the national debt. but over the next few years we're looking at 1.2 trillion dollar deficits. our total entitlements plus the debt equal 53 trillion. meaning we'd need 53 trillion dollars invested today at treasury rates just to break even. and we have zip invested. this country will go bankrupt in the next 20-30 years rest assured. there will be a run on the currency.
