I don't mind ripping at all but it definitely lowers what people think of you when you're not skating. haha I've had my Emerica Hsu for 4weeks and the thing on the side has a big hole in it and the lace protection on the Left Shoe (I'm Regular Stance) has come off. They're not much better than my Reynold's 3's at all.
