They just go for what's turbo'd, or "powerful" JZs do not suck. One reason people go after a JZ engine is because of the potential. You can hold up to 700HP on stock internals, and not to mention it doesn't take much to get there. SRs don't suck either. They have more aftermarket support than anything else. And RBs are just godly when it comes to power.

I know there is a couple of deviations from that in different countries. Like a 1.8 liter 200SX RPS13 in the The Netherlands (and probably the rest of Europe)
That;s why I said it. If you have a 240SX and swap it for the SR20 it becomes a 200SX...in a way.

Forget the KA24E go for a RB25DET you can get it for the same price as a SR20DET with 302 hp compared to the mere 210 you will get with the KA24E and that is stock. you will save yourself the thousands you will spend just to get the KA24E to where the performance of the RB25DET.

Im sure the gt28 is a lot faster. Now think of driving your car with your old set up. It would feel slow right. Ive always said your car looks really nice,looks real smooth. But when you got on it looked slow.(for a sr 240sx that looked so good) I thought there would be more money into the motor than paint and wheels
thanks for the compliment but no one likes to be told there car is slow..the car was built for drift anyway not for drag. trust me im pretty sure theres a lot more money into the motor than paint and wheels. only reason i kept the stock turbo was because it spooled early gt28 is a cheap upgrade i plan to put a t3t04 on this motor. money has been a problem im sure you know that. first gear i was half throttle and shifted at 4 grams thats why it seemed slow

But fast to me is 600-800hp and when you race cars that can hit 10 to 8 sec 1/4 mile passes my shit feels slow as hell...and true hp is not every thing the ae86 is really slow but really fast also. Forget the KA24E go for a RB25DET you can get it for the same price as a SR20DET with 302 hp compared to the mere 210 you will get with the KA24E and that is stock. you will save yourself the thousands you will spend just to get the KA24E to where the performance of the RB25DET.

dude camaro's are slow too stock. dont get your panties in a bunch.your car maybe fast next to cavielrs and sunfires but compared to cars that REALLY are fast your cars slow. I love the the SR and the sr stock is faster than most cars you see on the road. But dose not make it a fast ,most mini van have about 260 hp your propb not even puttin that down.+you wan to race me ? why?who's going win, a built sr w/264& GT30 @20psi and slicks vs a sr at 7 psi.hmmmm

Dude why you trying to race. I live in wisconson. Like I'm going to drive to jersey. Go to the track and get it on tape and post it. But think now, if you do now have a new set up. Im sure the gt28 is a lot faster. Now think of driving your car with your old set up. It would feel slow right. Ive always said your car looks really nice,looks real smooth. But when you got on it looked slow.(for a sr 240sx that looked so good) I thought there would be more money into the motor than paint and wheels

thanks for the compliment but no one likes to be told there car is slow..the car was built for drift anyway not for drag. trust me im pretty sure theres a lot more money into the motor than paint and wheels. only reason i kept the stock turbo was because it spooled early gt28 is a cheap upgrade i plan to put a t3t04 on this motor. money has been a problem im sure you know that. first gear i was half throttle and shifted at 4 grams thats why it seemed slow

I hear ya, money is hard to save,I really didnt mean to be an ass, I was just stating what I saw. I dont mean to get high and mighty on you but I have over 400hp and it feels slow. But fast to me is 600-800hp and when you race cars that can hit 10 to 8 sec 1/4 mile passes my shit feels slow as hell...and true hp is not every thing the ae86 is really slow but really fast also. All I was say in the footage I saw it looked nice but looked slow.I still think you let 1st wind out. 1/2 throttle IDK
