I like when he talks about video games, I used to have exactly the same issue with video games. There was a long period of time when I totally neglected guitar and just kept playing through the nights till my hands went numb Then I caught a few hours of sleep, ate something, and started playing again I simply became video junkie and I'm in my 50s for chrissakes! but he is awesome neoclassical guitarist playing in the wrong band.

now after being in a big band, he should work on a solo album instead of waisting he potential.

@mickey007r Seeing as he has already played in much more technical stuff like Nevermore and also plays in Jag Panzer, I don't think there's a need for him personally to go out and do a solo record. Endgame has a lot of fast riffs and solos, and I'm pretty sure that future Megadeth cd's will see Chris utalizing his talent much more.

@mickey007r i think that he will use his talent a lot more in the new CD of megadethbut even the ENDGAME have some pretty hard solos, but i think that the next its going to be a lot better than ENDGAME, and i think that he plays in megadeth because he earns more money i think

Dave knows what he's talking about when he says that he is the best in Megadeth's history, and i HAVE TO AGREE cause chris's stuff is the hardest to play. And i don't think his solos actually are his fault cause on Jag Panzer he had a lot of 'feeling' that he just dosen't show in Endgame, i bet it's one of mustaine's deeds

I didn't think I'd be seeing a guitarist as awesome as Marty Friedman when i went to see Megadeth recently... but holy cow. Chris Broderick is totally amazing. He totally nailed every single solo and looked like he could have been tap dancing at the same time and still pulled it off. Definitely my new favorite guitarist.

I think, every guitarist that Megadeth ever had was an guitarist on his own level if you know what i mean...

If you go Al Pitrelli, he's a good guitar player but different... not the msising piece of the puzzle for megadeth you know except he is an good song writer...

Chris Poland is was an Jazz Fusion player in a Trash metal band... other style of music but he did a great job on the 2records...
