Wow, this was simply perfect. Schwimmer written all over it. Love how calm B is and how he gives so much to T. And I didnt love the song, but the dance over powered my resistance. Bravo! Next time, go blues or R&B, please. ;o)

This didn't really seem like swing dance... and for sure the music isn't swing. Good dancers though.

@ssmarilyn It's west coast swing, which has a different feel to it and uses various music.

@ssmarilyn It's west coast swing which has the same concepts as every other swing dance. It also has wider array of musical selection as it can use traditional swing music, blues, contemporary, etc pretty much any western style music that's not in waltz time (3/4). Also the steps are a "pulse" feel not a "bounce" one like lindy hop. The "pulse" feel captures the phrasing while the "bounce" feel would not.

@blackberrypatch Brennar and Torri did compete against Jordan and Tatiana at Liberty Swing this year. And Brennar and Torri won.

But they had to take out the lift at 2:41 to stay in the classic division. So they replaced it with a similar drag that kept one of Torri's feet on the ground. I'm sad they had to take out the lift, but the alternate move still looked fantastic.

@iamkatiedancer Sadly, I'm not surprised. I was let down by Jordan and Tatiana's routine this year, definitely not their best although there were extenuating circumstances.
