Well, homeopathy per ce is good for things such as alergic reations. One homoepathic methid is to dilute a thing someone is alergic to, to an extent that the individual can cope with. And the mixture is graduly concentrated.

gilgamesh1962 - I practised Karate in the 90's & got to know Chi very well. I can't explain how I was able to do things, I just could. I didn't need eyes as much as most think, although I'm grateful for sight. I could jump the height of a man & deliver kicks, I could take strikes that would flatten most & it wouldn't hurt. As much as I would applaud your appraisal of this Chinese man who tries hard to see what chi is all about and what physical correlates it has, still one, shouldn't bash science, because it's the same as martial arts - being proven wrong and new methods are found that are based on learning from past mistakes. As for the chi thing, I'm willing to call it 'subtle energy' that several slightly esoteric traditions seem to find, as much in Europe and Asia.
I am a surgeon and a martial arts expert and can say with certainty that CHI is not subtle energy nor is it some esoteric tradition that is believed only in Asia or Europe. It's a life force that the average human being is disconnected from, and we as human beings have the potential to harness the earth's magnetic field or energy thru concentrated meditation. Therefore don't talk about something you have absolutely no knowledge of.
By subtle energy I mean something that has both subjective AND objective correlates, several of them. I do meditation and can access that energy and can stay warm without clothes in winter... not kidding.

First of all, its not electromagnetic field, its biomagnetic field which surrounds the human. Second, it cannot be focused on a certain point, because it is already in the most focused system; if its not, then its no more a biomagnetic field. Thus this Qi energy, must be of some other form which Dr. Lo has mentioned. Quantum Physics is required to reveal the true nature of objects, thus I do not see any reason why people should not learn Quantum Physics.
Yes indeed you can call it by any name provided you are talking about the field which is generated by bio-electrical process of a living thing. In human the neuron signals are responsible for this magnetic field since they are electrical pulses. Wow, the anger and hostility of some of these "scientific" people baffles me. If the doctor gets results, regardless if its a placebo effect or quantum healing, who really cares? As long as it works. A bet if some of these skeptics were dying of a terminal illness and the doctor offered to try quantum healing on them, they wouldn't be so quick to sneer.

Quantum healing has nothing to do with Quantum physics or quantum mechanics. You need to study for a decade from fundamental mathamatics to a phd. in maths & physics to grasp Quantum theory.
To understand quantum healing you need only a three week course for two hours on a monday evening and a vivid imagination.
Con-men like Mr. Lo and others hijack words like "quantum" from real science and apply it to their fake trade to make it sound somewhat plausable to the uneducated ear.

I do agree that people should learn about Quantum Theory. It is quite interesting, and mysterious. But that does not mean that people may say whatever they want about it.
If people understood more of how the scientific method worked, they would also understand why quantum healing isn't science, And why Dr. Lo has no real respect among scientist. And they would also understand that quantum theory has nothing to do with what Dr. Lo is preaching here.

Well, homeopathy per ce is good for things such as alergic reations. One homoepathic methid is to dilute a thing someone is alergic to, to an extent that the individual can cope with. And the mixture is graduly concentrated.
Quantum healing, and other energy healing modalitys work differantly - they ballance the meridians and chakra points. Reflexology, Accurpuncture and Accupressure work on the same construct.

Chi has long been named, it is not a matter of conjecture nor extrapolation.

How can anything ever be proven impossible? One can only ever state that the given conditions have not yet occurred. There is no way to rule out what will happen in the future, but we can make an educated guess and apply probability to future events.
Are you actually talking about entire cells being entangled? Quantum effects do not occur at this scale.

gilgamesh1962 - I practised Karate in the 90's & got to know Chi very well. I can't explain how I was able to do things, I just could. I didn't need eyes as much as most think, although I'm grateful for sight. I could jump the height of a man & deliver kicks, I could take strikes that would flatten most & it wouldn't hurt. It was all fairly wierd. I didn't need to practise moving chi around, it would just be there.

We know that there exists an anomaly in the cosmological constant, and the rotation rate of galaxies (and many other things) and one explanation for that is extra mass. As much as I would applaud your appraisal of this Chinese man who tries hard to see what chi is all about and what physical correlates it has, still one, shouldn't bash science, because it's the same as martial arts - being proven wrong and new methods are found that are based on learning from past mistakes. As for the chi thing, I'm willing to call it 'subtle energy' that several slightly esoteric traditions seem to find, as much in Europe and Asia.

I am a surgeon and a martial arts expert and can say with certainty that CHI is not subtle energy nor is it some esoteric tradition that is believed only in Asia or Europe. It's a life force that the average human being is disconnected from, and we as human beings have the potential to harness the earth's magnetic field or energy thru concentrated meditation. Being a student of martial arts I have seen how chi is used to both hurt and heal. I know it works. I commend Dr. Lo for his work and will be anxious to see what he develops. Chi is such a hard concept to understand until you experience first hand. With regard to the quatum phenomena, well chi practicioners have been around a lot longer than some of the theories of science. After all a theory is just that, a theory.

Gimme a break. God doesn't even care 'cause he doesn't even exist. It is a creation of our fears and ignorance. I've seen people with Cancer or AIDS or Diabetes or any other serious disease so devout and religious, talking about God here and there, and they and they all fucking die the same. So where was God for them?, taking a lunch break maybe?. Yeaaah right. Life's hard and the you die. That's all we have.

This is not superstitious stuff. It is meditation. Meditation is when your electro-magntetic fields are focused on one part of the body. This is how monks, can show extreme power. Chi is calm of mind and it is theorized you can gather energy from your surroundings. Its sad to hear any sort of ignorance come from people who have interest in Quantum Physics.. :(

First of all, its not electromagnetic field, its biomagnetic field which surrounds the human. Second, it cannot be focused on a certain point, because it is already in the most focused system; if its not, then its no more a biomagnetic field. Thus this Qi energy, must be of some other form which Dr. Lo has mentioned. Quantum Physics is required to reveal the true nature of objects, thus I do not see any reason why people should not learn Quantum Physics.

Yes indeed you can call it by any name provided you are talking about the field which is generated by bio-electrical process of a living thing. In human the neuron signals are responsible for this magnetic field since they are electrical pulses. The other electrical sources generated by non-living things i.e., the normal electronics or a thunderstorm, are different in composition. Please visit Wikipedia for further info. thanks.

Wow, the anger and hostility of some of these "scientific" people baffles me. If the doctor gets results, regardless if its a placebo effect or quantum healing, who really cares? As long as it works. A bet if some of these skeptics were dying of a terminal illness and the doctor offered to try quantum healing on them, they wouldn't be so quick to sneer.

Does it really matter if you think his theory is right or wrong? He is in service of healing and loving. To be critical of something without seeing the intent is hatred and limiting your beliefs. Send light to his process of finding healing to people. Only positive feedback will aid his service better.

People conduct themselves through their intent, actions, and effort. Someone could have a "good" intent, and put in plenty of effort, yet their actions could be dead wrong, and harmful to others.
