Nice dish, chef! For those who don't drink alcohol, it cooks out, no worries! You just are left with the flavor. I have made similar sauces and served to children. There is no alcohol in the final dish.

The whipping cream (white) combined with the puree (red) makes the pinkish/orange color. This tastes really good though...especially when prosciutto is used

you probably could not make this exact sauce without vodka, but the alcohol will cook off-a lot if you cook it longer then he did.

it is a size of a garlic, taste like an onion and it looks like a red onion when it is peeled.
