You should know that Dreamrender was the first program that could create an animated desktop when Windows Vista and Windows XP didn't exist. Stardock just copied the idea from the makers of Dreamrender just because Stardock saw a video of this feature in a beat a version of Vista. I even think that this feature was also available in Linux, so they steal from eachother, lol. Damn money hunters :), Still Dreamrender has more functions than DeskScape will ever have!!

Actually RAM is Random Access Memory, You only need it to load games and to support your GPU, most GPU's only use about 256-512 of your RAM anyway, unless you have some advanced options you can set to make it different. If you have 4 gb/s of RAM, your screwed out of playing a game, but if you have 4 gb/s of RAM and 1gb of VRAM, those games are gonna run sonic fast. Also theres no argument here, I'm just going off of what I learned in school.

a GPU using 512mb is more then plenty, especially with 1.5 RAM. It's not like hes doing a whole lot of other processes in the background, so the RAM isn't being hogged.

yeah but he is playing games on 2 gb thats way to slow of load times, and then the higher the res the more ram needed, you try playing on 1680 x 1050 with 2 gb its gonna move slow and slow down your fps.
