Get in your local UNION or get out. Its completely worthless.

It's all about one thing pure cash not knee or power stretchers.If you do a good job the people your fitting for will call you back plus we use both knee & power depends on room size.The guys in the video need to get knee pads for a start

@malachais 90% of the work that's true but the skill is in cutting a 30 foot seam in a straight line and at the same time you must match a pattern up...and know how to evenly stretch it in tight. A good installer contracting his own work can make a few hundred dollars a day. Your mostly right about the monkey though! Anyone with the right tools can install a simple room with no seams.

I split a hotel with a guy who kicked every room in. In the morn would brag out kicking it by 1 oclock was complaining and headed home. Me and my carpet strecher would do 3 times what he could handle in a day. They fired him and I finished the job. Ha ha ha and Im a guurl.

It only takes one guy to install pad, and knee kicking is just for small places like closets, a power stretcher must be used even for small rooms it saves time and it does a better job.

These guys are way better than the "installers" at Carpet Connection in Lyndonville, Vermont!! I just love paying top dollar for a new carpet and installation--and gettting a poor quality job. Bob Guest (owner) is also a fine piece of work too.

They were ok. They did some things awkwardly...and questionably..like how they were rolling that carpet out. And how how the one pulled the carpet out of the truck..and how it took two of them to bring in that little piece of carpet =-S...alot of hassle for no reason. There wasn't much technique.
