@zythepsarian Scoopes get their benifit from getting colder air from outside the car. Its been proven time and again that the "ram air" idea is only for high speeds, not drag racing. That big ass engine is going to suck air in faster than that scoop will ever force it in. Chances are that under the hood the air isnt even being directed directly into the carb anyway. Probably just a big hole and the air is creating a buffeting effect inside the engine compartment, likely slowing the car down.
