Well I am going to get the ultra HD which I decided before but c'mon man how is the interface of the flip slide HD complicated? It's a slider with a coverflow kind of look... Sure it works better on an iPod but that's because it has a wider range but how on earth is it complicated to you?

Good info about reasons to for Flip Ultra HD over the Slide. Since Ultra HD only has 2hrs/8GB rec time/capacity can you recommend any usb/otg storage devices to use to dump video from Ultra HD without having to use laptop ?

i wanted the slide but now i want an ultra ugh idk which one to buy ive been doing research and so far the ultra dominates the mino and comes over the top by a little than the slide which ine should i buy?!?!

@musiclover10gb I really suggest the Ultra HD. It seems to have the best of everything. In my opinion, the touch screen and slide feature on the Slide HD are cumbersome, and are unnecessary ad-ons. The main difference between the Mino and Ultra series is size and features. The Mino is smaller, however is sacrifices some features such as stereo sound and more recording time. Hope that helps!

what the fuck? yeah the dxg doesnt really match up with the Flip, obviously, but just because your power switch went off doesnt mean it sucks. And the quality is great for the price. but i didnt buy it for no $100+ for it

@iskate40 Ok, well I had really bad luck with mine. After the power switch snapped off (around 2 months after purchasing it) the company was completely un-helpful, not giving me a refund or a new camera. I also had problems with the sound recording quality of the camera, and the zoom jumped around too much to be used. If I forgot to mention that in the video. Sorry. If you had good luck with yours, thats great because it has a lot of potential, it just didn't work out for me.

which one would you say captures the best audio? Also since the UltraHD has actual buttons for zooming, do you ever hear the clicking when you playback the video? Which one is better in the sun?

@ThePitchersArsenal I would say that they all capture audio about the same, but the slide is supposed to have a better microphone set up that the ultra line. I have heard some clicking from the buttons on the ultras, but I still think they are better than the touch screen. As for the sun question, you can check out my follow me at national jamboree video. I shot that in the sun with the ultra HD camera, and it did great. The normal ultra and the slide do the same. Thanks for watching!
