What impressed me about your morphing was that it was 'on the go' morphing during a 'moving footage' sequence. Of course, it may be that it still just seizes one still frame to morph to another. The ABC has absolutely no problem with the disemination of their material online. If it's modified like this, I'm presume they'd either want it noted in the document, or like in this case, it's obvious that it's been modified, it wouldn't matter.
