You can get a uniform grind with a blade grinder if you shake it while it's running. Sort of like shaking a martini.

I am a bit disappointed in the episode, though. The episode comprises of lots of hints on making a hearty breakfast. Not too bad for when you just need to relearn some things, but otherwise I'm a fan of the specializing episodes such as ingredient-centered (Et tu, mame?) and those focusing on a type of food (A Pie in every pocket)
