Well I hope this car is worth it. my lease on my 328i is over in 20 days and I picked up a sweet deal on a c350 at a swapalease...Basically the same lease payment as the 328i for a fully loaded C350. I just wish it came with a 6-speed. Thanks for the review.
thats it i cant bear it. yes 350 is a beautiful car, superior at its own class but 328i has the same performance as a c350 and its cheaper. fight 335i and 350 the clear winner is of course the bmw, performance wise of course
Well i regret ever getting the c-class as it was the biggest waste of money! the 328 is a joke and a wanna be car at all tasks! 335's cool but for the price you can get an E46 M3 like i did or get a E36 M3 and tune it up!
well i'm a mechanic myself, but i will be installing: HPF ti exhaust, SS sec 1 & 2 pipes, SS stepped headers, AFE stage 2 cold air intake, and tuner motor sport pulleys. Then theres a lot more other things to install. The c-class was just a rip off, slow, terrible suspension, to quite, not responsive, stereo was garbage. Just love not having it anymore!

no one should've warned me, i know my cars like the back of my hand. I just decided to get it because it was a good deal at the time, but at the end it was an overpriced piece of shit. MB has tons of tuning devisions just like any other german brand car does!
well personally yes 228hp is very little in a car that size! but the difference from a 3.0L to a 3.2L with about 38hp more does make a difference. but doesn't matter to me since i got rid of it in December, so glad i did!

I am from india and soon would be getting a car around the budget of c class. Till now i have ruled out Skoda Superb,accord v6 and camry...Here in india you have to pay 100% customs so the german cars cost a lot,.i think i would be going for the c class,since 3 series and A4 offer only more snob value which i dont want
well since your in india i would highly recommend an A4 for its quattro AWD system. i choose the c-class because i was able to get a better deal on it when i traded in my ML350, if not i would've gone for a E92 3series. but not at all they would come to the same price for import as any other german car. don't bother getting the c-class i sold mine if you haven't read the comments
Yeah,I am not going for a bmw 3 series only for the sake of buying it. Its my first car of this segment,have been driving a matiz from last 6 years lol and yea i know its a long jump to a car 10 times the price of my current one:) Audi is new in india,so there are problems with service stations,after sale services and all,thats why i think a c class would be a better choice atleast compared to a camry,accord, or skoda superb..Will be going for audi brand in SUV segment...the Q7 rocks,wat say?
@sachakishlar actually the transmission is really good just that the c class doesn't have enough power to make real good use of all 7 gears if it had 350 around there like the e class it would work fine but if you want to rev it itd b better to do it manually and stay like on fourth or fifth gear max
the "350" models all have the same engine i am sure you know? i am getting rid of the c-class for an E46 M3 as i am not thrilled with the car, not enough physical feel of driving the benz as i thought it would, but thats just my preference
@sachakishlar more horsepower but hey dude the mileage is a killer especially since all 2011-12 models are gonna have way more horsepower and a better mileage you shouldve held out or done some research
Sorry to hear it didn't work out. I think it's because it works as a luxury sport instead of a sports luxury. I'm guessing you are more of a racer type. well exactly i mean i am a car enthusiast and i can sit hear all day telling you my reasons why. but i was gonna go for a C63 originally but didn't want to pay $4k every 2-4months for a new set of tires, i would've gotten an M3 E92 instead any day. but yeah its not at all what i expected it to be, i like to drive cars not to be driven by them if you know what i mean. i didn't test drive it cause i've had so many benz's that they drive pretty much the same and is nothing compared to my old s550.

thank you, all thu an M3 is a totally diff story i love them. uhhh anyway, honestly the A4 has a bit more features that beat the C-Class like, blind spot assist, rear view camera, B&O sound system, AWD. Overall the benz has more HP plus an extra 0.3L but as far as the overall design goes in my opinion they are both styled well, but i would go with the A4 if you are planning on getting one fully loaded. I am getting rid of my C350 in 5months for an M6 possibly, but the c350 is still a good car.

never get an SLK!!!!! its a girls car, C350 is the obvious choice, not only because its better value but also because it's engine is a lot better. i mean inline 4 with 163hp and 240 torques VS the 3.5L V6 24-valve with 272hp and 291torques stock! go with the C350
everyone gets the 3series just for the hell of it, and granted its a great reliable car but the E92 coupe if for what you should go for, like a 335i don't get the sedan its one of the worst designed cars in the bmw line up besides the 5series.
congrats for getting the c350 instead of the boring bmw 3 series which everyone buys just for the sake of buying. i personally feel that the c350 has the better ride quality and is overall a better value for the money compared to the 3 series.

that is because on the 2009 models of the c350 the steering wheel is 4 spokes idk why they did that but its just is. the c300 models i believe still have the 3 spoke steering wheels on the 09 models. if you were to get a 2007 or 2008 w204 model it will come with a 3 spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters. the 4 spoke steering wheel doesn't come with paddle shifters

so to answer your question, it doesn't sound anything close to the c63. but the c350 is plenty quick but is more of a city car opposed to the c63. but i think its worth it to upgrade to a c63.
a G37 no way!!!!!!!!!!! it sounds like a 3.0l v6 naturally aspirated is what it sounds like. mine is the same except mine is a 3.5l v6 268hp with 291ft torque. the g37 is turbocharged which makes it sound a lot better.
i cant say a g37 but its close i love your c350. Does ur 350's tire pressure monitor says the tires need to be checked wen they are fully pumped? Because i get tht reading over and over again after i pump the tires i dont know if thts a malfunction or not. anything
it sounds relatively close. well the c350 comes with continental tires which are real good, very close to high end pirelli tires like the p-zero. i wouldn't say its a mal function, you tire probably has a small whole that was punctured that is probably leading the air to get out after a day or so, looks like you might need a new tire. if not then its a mal function but take it to benz, and i bet its in need of a new tire.

well see the only thing wrong with getting a pre owned one is that the warranty will only be another 2yrs long with 100k miles to go but its what ever comes first, which obviously the time will come first. so to me its not a good deal. cause before i bought the c350 i was looking at a pre owned cl550 loaded for 70k but the only thing that put me out was the warranty. and thats the same thing with the pre owned bmws. so yeah look into the 7series and you can get one cheaper then an s550.
well if you lost your job its not such a good idea to upgrade to a 100k + car. you should either make sure your invested money is safe or start getting a new job. cause when any benz needs maintance check up, be ready to pay from $600-2,000 per check up! thats a fact. on my X ml350 i paid $600 each time for simple shit, and the s550 goes for $1,300 and can go to 2k. don't get an 09 e-class they redesigned the e-class wait till the new one is released in the western market and get that!

I only have the c300 sport because I can't afford to pay 9000 more, but it does drive so smooth and the design is so sporty. It's also pretty quiet.

Well i've never driving a c180 but i'm sure it'll be a decent amount of performance ability for what it is. make sure you do get a couple of options thu, at least the multimedia pack so you get the harman kardon speakers and the 7inch screen. i never use my sun roof but it came with the car. do you want any more vids of the c-class so you can see more of it? tell me what if so! ok

believe me man the s550 is an amazing car! it is probably the best car in the world like many people say, but maybe you should check out the new bmw 7series? its a beauty, i am thinking of getting that after i get over my c350 if not a cl63. but bmw will have a way better warranty i'll tell you that right now. just check it out. want any more info i am a car enthusiast and i know my cars like the back of my hand so if you want more info let me know!

but im getting payed for the next two months.
most likely i will probably get it before May because benz is doin the whole finance thing
and im not to interested in BMW 7 series.

well see the only thing wrong with getting a pre owned one is that the warranty will only be another 2yrs long with 100k miles to go but its what ever comes first, which obviously the time will come first. so to me its not a good deal. cause before i bought the c350 i was looking at a pre owned cl550 loaded for 70k but the only thing that put me out was the warranty. and thats the same thing with the pre owned bmws. so yeah look into the 7series and you can get one cheaper then an s550.

i mean i went to the bmw dealer to cheak out the 7 series, but it was not as good as the s550
but it was still good
but i mean i just lost my job so now price does matter
so i went to the benz dealer, and saw a 2009 e 350, i liked it so i tested it and it was nic
im still thinking
but right now i drive a 99 e 320

well if you lost your job its not such a good idea to upgrade to a 100k + car. you should either make sure your invested money is safe or start getting a new job. cause when any benz needs maintance check up, be ready to pay from $600-2,000 per check up! thats a fact. on my X ml350 i paid $600 each time for simple shit, and the s550 goes for $1,300 and can go to 2k. don't get an 09 e-class they redesigned the e-class wait till the new one is released in the western market and get that!

but then again the reason why i want to buy an 09 e class because in a 4 or 5 years then i will plan to buy the new e or s class
because they might configurate the new e class
