if i pull up a pollock in photoshop then slowly tweak the contrast and color values, there are places where it literally starts to unravel into 3D layers of color by way of some sort of optical illusion effect.. No. 8 works really well.

It would have been even awesomer if the gestures of paint were layered from the back up to the top. I believe that manner would most truthfully express the layers of emotions he must have felt while painting ( even though I know the animation might just be an "abstraction").
