  • Thank you for posting this. I now have a spindle made by Henry Lee Dedman from Weaving in Beauty. I still have to try it out. Your video really helped sell me on Navajo spindles. I have three feed bags of lovely, but smelly wool to scour, but once it gets done, my new spindle will be busy. :)

    I have a Dedman too, and I'm getting a Snipes at SOAR. DY Begay will be teaching, and it's very rare for Navajo teachers to come east!

  • I love this video! Is that a Roosterick Spindle? I think I see a hint of woodburning on the whorl and they are the only ones I know with a steel tip.
