  • Wow, fantastic! It was a little slower, but i actually like that. I'd rather here it played right and under speed, than at speed with mistakes. Great Job

  • Ezcellent in every way. Perfect speed throughout, perfect tempo, your piano sounds amazing, and such a graceful poise to the keys.

  • you should make a tutorial. im sure thousands of people including myself would appreciate it sooo much.

  • Heres the trick. You can connvert this vid to an audio mp3 file at a site called audioripit daht cahm. (This wouldnt post here unless I misspelled daht cahm).

  • wow your a very good piano player but its a bit slow.

    i'm sorry.

its awesome but the pause thing kinda bothers me. sorry

  • I too like how you play it a bit slower. You can actually hear the beautiful harmonies and melody that Schmidt has put together rather than just a mush of notes in some cases. I also enjoyed the slightly extended ending, but at the same time, the abruptness adds something to the piece as well. Fantastic job! :)

  • Great!

  • very well played.

  • probably best to not use your wrist..but nice job.

  • Great job! That was just fantastic.... just one tip! just try and speed it upa bit... sounds great but the tempo was just a little slow... not much but it sounded amazing! 5/5

  • There were so many things about this version that made it far superior to the others. First off, you encourage those of us that haven't had formal training in your ease and confidence. Second, I believe others have sacrificed the accuracy of the notes in favor of speed. You haven't. And third, your keyboard sounds better than any piano. I'm going to look for an RD 700 SX myself and I have a yamaha! GREAT JOB kid.

  • wow, thank you very much. This is probably the best comment I've received since I posted this video =D

  • How long have you been playing? and have you had anyone to teach you or are you self taught like myself?

  • I have had lessons for almost 12 years actually, but I never practiced a lot, that has been my weak point, I could have been better than this.

  • That was amazing! It was very beautiful :)

  • really good ! Do you have sheets?

  • Yes I have sheets.

  • wow o.o....hm.....thers tht certain slowness in it o.o....kinda annoys me xD I kidna wnna speed it up a bit but its pretty cool xD

  • It's a nice rendition... Even a good "new version"... But in my opinion it's harder to learn the rhythm Schmidt imposed.

    Good work nonetheless.

  • I actually wanted to play it slower to see how it would sound. I can play it the same exact way that Schmidt plays it, I just got bored of always playing it that way.

  • How long did this take you to learn? I'm trying to learn it now

  • I couldnt answer you accurately since this video is 2 years old, but I certainly took me a few months learning it without practicing a lot though. I remember that I learned the second half in about 3 days because I had a concert and I was short in time.

  • you've got a very fine natural touch for piano

  • Thanks a lot.

  • Okay, weird...I used to have the Roland RD700SX, I played this song on it, AND my name is Vince too! Crazy!!!!!!!

  • LMFAO

  • this is a really nice audio/visual setup. Just out of curiosity, what did you do it with. Is it an integrated microphone on the camera, or separate? You did a very nice job with the song, although it was slower than it is traditionally played. Nice version though!

  • My father used the sound from Pro-Tools and he synched it with the image.

  • you're incredible !

    You're performance is perfect...

  • merci.

  • if someone has the original version of this song plz send it to me....

  • you can download it for free from author's official website

  • really good job man! i love that song! and im learning it on the piano...

    Vincent

  • C'est un Roland RD-700SX :)

  • it wouldn't be correct to say that it's too slow, because its at a good pace in which a lot of people enjoy because they can actually hear how it would sound and not judge on it's speed.

  • yeaaa! :D

  • You do realize on original core music there ist actually a written tempo...

    SO performers preference

Personally i think this peice sounds better on a normal piano not an electric one u can get better rings

  • Malade Vince, J'viens d'en écouter une couple d'autres et le seul qui t'accote c'est le p'tit mormon roux, ya tout un flow ;) mais t'es mieux produit.

  • haha, :D

  • good job mate, lache pas big tu est solide :P

t mon pianiste gros ;) beGOOD

  • Bravo Vincent. Belle piece, belle interpretation, beau son. Lache pas.

    Andre Delage

  • merci bien :)

  • do you have a real piano? @.@

playing on a keyboard gives it a nice but horribly artificial tone.

  • No, I don't have a real piano, but I prefer the sound of mine compared to a lot of piano I've tried.

  • very good and best audio quality yet..good job

  • Good job! I love Jon Schmidt! I'm learning waterfall right now...I'll bet you'd be way better at it though! you should learn it and post a video! oh! and you should learn dumb song too!

  • im actually learning waterfall too. I will post a video of it when it will be done.

  • i am learning gamy day and ridin west :D i will post too early

  • very very nice!

  • Very nice man! You seem very confident with it, but I would let the music flow a little instead of being so accurate. Very good work indeed. :)

  • this is like one of the best versions i've heard

    awesome job

    and nice keyboard too

    !!!

=] and i think your speed is really good

  • your ugly :D. nice job dude, talk to ya soon. wayz

  • Really really great! Very dynamic as well! 5 star!

Please check out my videos as well!

  • I love this interpretation , playing it slowly highlights how amazing this song is ( to me ) . Still can't play this song , but 3 videos on youtube give me the inspiration to try again to play it with Thwacks and yours being 2 of them and obviously Jon's .

  • Thank you very much for your comment. I'm glad that my version is in your top 3 of all of me songs :) Send me the link to your version when u'll be done at learning it. ( If you're planning to make a youtube video, of course)

  • Yeah I tried to play clearly at a good tempo. Thanks for the comment.

  • What I like about this version is that you can hear all the notes that are being played. Enjoyed the song alot, one of the best i've heard.

  • Thanks alot. By the way, what you hear behind the piano isn't only the reverb. I always use a kind of slow pad because I like the effect it gives to the piano.

  • Nice! I wasn't sure I liked the reverb effect at first but it turned out to work nicely with the slow but ACCURATE style you went for, which came out very well. One of the best versions of All of Me on YouTube so far!

  • Thanks for the comments. By the way I decided to play it a little bit slower because 90% of the people playing this song on youtube play it too fast. Also, the secret why it sounds so good, it's because this isn't the sound from the camera :) I should post one or two video or Rick Wakeman covers really soon.

  • Well wow. U have syncronized the sound perfectly, i am interested to know how u did that, saying it was slow was not a bad thing, if anything , the hole song is a lot more clear to the ear. do you know any other jo nschmidt songs?

  • My father used a program called Pro Tools to do the whole thing. At the moment, I don't know any other jon schmidt's songs but I was thinking about learning Waterfall or Ridin' West. ( if you want more information about the Pro Tools, send me a private message and I'll ask my father.)

  • hey,

very accurate sounding version of all of me, nice sound as well from the keyboard. it was slightly slow tempo from which it should be played, but no worries about that cus its ur video. however you did seem to pick up slightly at the end which was good. looking forward to your next video :)

  • Seemed to kinda drag for me, but I really liked it :D Nice sounding keyboard.

  • lol. thanks nic. :)

  • waow vince your so good..i know now why your good at bounce at sof2..your finger move so quick

    stolen <3etq<3

  • I also love the sound of my RD-700 SX :) Thanks for the comment.

  • Awesome job man! That's a nice piano/keyboard you're using there too.

  • Thanks man. I will post a song of Rick Wakeman too really soon.

  • You rock so much !!! the next rick wakeman is there !
