Kept the small fry, replaced the direct drive with a calatlinbread dirty little secret, that is much more dynamic than de direct drive while still very marshally.
Very nice playing and very nice demo. Wish more people would follow your formula. Beautiful guitar and tone, I'm inching closer to getting one as well.
hehe nice doodlin man, and props for the 339...Im really tempted to get one in antique red with the 60s neck; it really is perfect for solidbody players lookin for that warm hollowbody tone
I'm absolutly in love with that 339. I like it better than the new 335 I tried: I like the neck better, the tone is a little brighter and a little more focus than a 335, yet I can get the typical tone of both a 335 and a Les Paul, without the size of the 335 and the weight of the Les Paul.

Hi, is that the 59 neck or the 60's? Could you explain the different feel between them? I'm thinking of buying one via internet.

what is the difference between ES-339 and 1959 ES-335 Dot Reissue?? just can't find..
what's better? )
TolikRyumin 1 year ago
@TolikRyumin the 335 is always the better choice in my opinion...every semi hollowbody guitar has a different touch of tone!

how do you like your super champ xd?

@switchblade615
The superchamp XD is a great amp. I replaced it with a princeton reveb reissue, as I was using only the clean tones.

What scale or mode did you use for this piece, it sounds awesome
mike1jimmypage 2 years ago
Thx!
Don't know about scales or modes...It's mostly G minor pentatonic with some added passing notes when some tension is needed.
