well i really didnt have problems with the generals. i usually own them. i can kill up to 5 units and they can be units that arent good to fight with my troops with 1 spear unit. i took out the black prince EASY with mace and shield. so i guess im pretty good

those generals that are powerful are powerful for good reason, you get epicly strong as well. if i use "lady lancers" i can 1shot anygroup by charging in. and if i pop protection/gaurdian aura even those long spears can't hurt my team. >;3 i am epic on this game. i run through on my own w/o a group most of the time i tackle the lead horse to kill it. and then rape the foot soldiers. the only time i use a group is against horse generals.

That's a stupid element in a war game. You can't just switch from infantry to cavalry, from axeman to swordsman. That isn't to say that you can't be a dragoon, ride into battle, and jump off to fight as infantry, or that a soldier can't utilize more than one weapon.

I left the last comment while i was lettiing the video load and after watching the video this game sounds pretty good I played the demo and enjoyed it so if you like these types of games I would say go for it if I could compare it to anything it would be like Kingdom Underfire when it was on XBOX either way its win win man good luck with your decision

@ KINGTIGER17 If youve played Warhammer in the past like Dark Omen or Shadow of the Horned Rat. It is similar to those. With Battlemarch you get a max of 4 playthroughs which is nice if you like a decent price game that goes a long way as far as time play. Im actually looking at gettig bladestorm idk lol thats all i can say at least speak for one side...

dude the only way something is a 1 or 2 hit kill is if you either bust your ass lvling up and maxing out stats of a certain book or your so under leveled that you shouldnt even be using that squad in that battle there is nothing wrong with the balance system its fine were its at general's are stronger for a reason they're basicly like hero's and are known for there battle prowess what they need to start adding is multiplayer for there games they scream and lu bu is a bitch on even choas lol L2P

Okay..... This game is NOTHING like dynasty warriors or kingdom under fire, having alot of enemies on the screen doesn't automatically make this the same game. It has many RPG and strategy elements including customizable characters, new weapons armor and recruits, lots of solider class's and I mean LOTS and shitloads of skills, also its not a rip off of any game it is a one of a kind game. I give this game a 8 out of 10. Great game, its definitely a rent and for people who like good games a buy

I believe it is a necessity for DW & SW to have 1-3 officers who are significantly superior to you, until you played the game longer.

Lu Bu always managed to give me the 'respect'-factor that most other officers simply were not designed for.

If the story says "This warrior is legendary for his fighting prowess.", then I want to experience it in-game!

Defeating Lu Bu felt like an actual achievement!

Until then, I just had to flee a lot.
