Uh just a heads up you don't need to restore to a factory settings when you jailbreak it already restore to the custom firmwire i dont know why tards restore before hand

also, can you download music from cydia? Can i still sync music from my comuter to my jailbroken ipod? And does cydia have apps that i would find from the original appstore?

hey there, im still deciding whether i should jailbreak my ipod touch or not. Some people say that it can freeze on you and never work again, is this true? Sorry about the newbie question by the way

despite what some people say, unless the hardware is badly damaged, nothing can COMPLETELY stop it from working ever again

if something DID happen though, it might be a bit hard to fix...

how do you get the regular apple boot image

When you get to the step where you would create a custom firmware, create one and make sure you uncheck "Use Custom Boot Logo." This will give you the defalt Apple boot logo.
