@redtorso I'm French and I don't think you're right. She made the reforms she had to make, even though they aren't popular here because it means more work! her English and the fact that she became a politician only a few years ago made so efficient. It isn't her fault if French economy needed reforms since 20 years, not her fault if we are lazy. She is defenitely the kind of minister we needed during the crisis, thank to her we went trough it way better than other countries.

My impression is that France is in a big financial trouble, the difference is that France being one of the governing countries of the EU (the other Germany), people are just hesitant to ask them straigthforward about the situation. But sooner or later they will have to come clean. I wonder what the Germans know but are not saying.
