How effective is AdWords? For example, whenever I search for something I sometimes see the ad or business but most of the time I don't. I don't make it a habit to look on the side. But this could just be me. Have you benefited from this form of advertising?

i got a msg saying my account was suspended for violations. I did not intentionally violate the rules. I had one of my sites up and it flagged some of the catch words? i had up saying they where not relevant to the site. If i remember correctly. so of course i removed them and this happen a few more times. last i new it said my account was suspended and i could no longer put up adds..this was very annoying :( i made a new account tho at the moment seems ok

One thing I recently found out is that you only get the first 30 days telephone support PROVIDING you have never run a campagin, once you have run one then the only support structure they have is via web chatboard type forum and possibly email only contact. When I phoned their customer numbers they have two options one for first time users and one for existing customers - when I pressed for existing customers it said the phone support was gone now and referred me to the web-based chat forum.

@Andamxx Google AdSense pays you, You pay for Google Adwords. Google Adsense puts Ads on your site, Adwords gets people to your site. Using the two together would ultimately mean more money for you.

beware of this, i don't believe in home business at all now even from a big company with a  good reputation such us google ???. it happened to me once, when i decided to give a try in my free time for 1.97$ charge i end up with an email full of spams and a couple of extra charges in my credit card a week later after the purchase, what they need actually is just to rob your money that's all

It think Adwords in more appropriate for the advertising companies. Like you say you get charged for this, but that is the actual purpose for it as it is advertising.

For many companies this is a good way of advertising as many people will probably see their website, and they also have the budget for it.
