The Beatles themselves were like other men, but the music and lyrics channeled through them contained magic and hidden messages. To learn how to perceive these hidden meanings, search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then open The Present and read through the section about The Beatles.
George got screwed over by Lennon and McCartney. I love them both, but he was the best songwriter in the group, as shown by "All Things Must Pass." Three albums of songs, each of them great, stored up during the Beatles days.
Should have been on The White Album. It's much better than Piggies that's for sure. Wild Honey Pie was a waste and Revolution 9 wasted too much space.
This should have SO been on the 'White' LP!!! WHAT EGO'S 'LENNON/ MCcARTNEY'
must have had going on by then. At least 6-8 tunes on it were either filler or total indulgence fueled by several substances...(Sorry 'Yoko ' you r included). Musta sucked bad for everybody...most of all 'George". Thanks 4 sharing.
@record1207 I agree. It should have been on The White Album. Even though The White Album has obvious flaws I think the high moments outweigh the low ones. Hey Jude, Hey Bulldog, and Lady Madonna all could have been on that record if they had gotten rid of Revolution #9 and a few others.
@schubie2 Hey Jude and Lady Madonna would not have been on any album, as they were issued as singles, and the Beatles didn't put singles on the albums. I agree that Rev. 9 should have been scrapped though.
@schubie2 Hey Jude and Lady Madonna were singles already. They wouldn't've put them on an album after the single was already out. But Not Guilty and this song could've definitely taken the place of Wild Honey Pie or similar.
I didn't know casio produced 4-track cassette recorders with built in out of sync drumcomputers :) Anyway, you obviously love the song and I agree, it's great.
thank you i did enjoy this one i down loaded this for my beatles collection hey check out my orginal song on you tube its called you silly doggie i hope you all enjoy it

Wow - first time I ever heard George H. play Sour Milk Sea! He wrote it for Jackie Lomax. I have the Jackie Lomax single on Apple. A great song!
