you'll never guess what! When my family and i were just going on that tram, We were asked to get off and no-one that was originally on the tram could leave as there was thought that someone was carrying a bomb. We were there for 2 hours, absolutely shattered from our flight from the UK. Anyone that went on the tram or came off who was not supposed to was arrested. I remember the cops running down that path with a bicycle and segway. It was pretty funny.

I'm an Orlando resident but havent been home in a while. THis video takes me back. THANX! Did you know that the airport itsaelf is shaped like a Mickey head (main concourse is a large circle, two smaller round terminals for foriegn and domestic flights branch off at 10 and 2 O'Clock)

were leaving Magic Kingdom at closing time as usual. What was not usual

was there were only 3 trams going to and from the parking lots. Whether

employees had taken the day off or what who knows? The lines waiting

for the trams in 90+ degree heat grew to 2,000 or more people. The entire

tram waiting area was full back to the exit ramps. Tiny kids were crying

& parents were miserable. It took 2 hours to get to the car.

I was on that ride, on my way to Magic Kingdom... and boy was that experience awesome. It was night and a storm was supposed to be coming in but there was no thunder or rain, only lightning flicking in the sky.

The Kingdom was lit up with lights and there were parades and hardly no lines. I was 16 when I first went to Disney World and I was expecting it to be a drag... and boy was I wrong. lol. Ya can't tell me nothing, Disney World was awesome!

I still remember that feeling the first time we stepped through the gates of Magic Kingdom. I actually cried! My father always wanted to take us there when we were kids, but there just wasn't the money.

@batlady2 This is just the tram INSIDE the Orlando airport...the tram goes from the gates to the main hub of the airport...from the main hub is where you get cabs, buses, rental cars and board the Magical Express busses that go to Disney World...its about a good 30 minute ride to WDW from the airport...

I see how it all works now. it seems almost more worth it to stay on property to avoid all the running around getting your luggage. Magical express is a free service for any one staying on property. You by pass picking up your luggage and they do it for you and send it to your resort straight to your room. Bout time they offer something like this. Thanks, you were very helpful!

@batlady2 No, you take this from the station where all flights are being held to the other part of the air port where you exit the air port, or the other way around. There is a Disney Magical Express bus that enters Walt Disney World (20 minute drive) and takes you to your hotel immediately. Of course there are other hotels that they have to stop at, so you may have to wait your turn to get off. Disney Magical Express bus also picks you up after your stay at Walt Disney World.
