  • That's it, I'm creating a new religion based around the one and only true messiah: the model skeleton in one of my classrooms, Skully.

  • I think the link between the being forced to give a kidney and letting others decide when an abortion is acceptable is:

In the same way others are deciding and telling one what to do with ones body.....

  • I now declare April zombie month!

  • .lol the penultimate caller was hilarious.

  • jen is sooooo pretty omg!

  • so gay lol

  • @fuckth3hatters: Like your comment.

  • So far this is my second favourite episode ive seen in the 6 years of shows ive watched. When Jen said 'You gotta get the headshot in' I had to pause it to laugh. When Martin made the 'Anyone who's played Fallout or Left 4 Dead knows...' I had to pause it to CRY!. Goddamn these guys are funny. If only Matt was in Studio as well that day; He's a real freakin comedian trust me!

  • re about 46 minute mark abortion on demand excludes late term abortions. That is US only. In Canada there are ZERO laws governing abortion. The supreme court struck down the abortion laws as unconstitutional decades ago and no politician has had the guts to propose any legislation since then. However, stats show that even without legislation, abortions after 20 weeks constitute a mere .4% of abortions.

  • The bodies came out of the graves and invaded the cities and Milla Jovovich killed all of them with her incredible tits of fire.

  • I mean second to last caller.

  • Jen is trying so hard not to laugh during the last caller.

  • I loved ancient mythology always! My book on Egyptian mythology was dog-eared. I think it's also a great way to introduce kids to other cultures and also a gateway to history. I was recently in Rome and enjoyed looking at all the statues of ancient gods.

In my country Santa comes on Dec. 6th and Little Jesus is supposed to bring presents.

One reason to allow abortion is overpopulation.

YAY! Doctor Who. Ep. 1: The Unearthly Child.

  • @zeldaofarel What country does Santa come on the 6th?

  • @CelestialWoodway

In his original European incarnation(s), as a Saint/Bishop, he usually comes on the evening of the 5th (Netherlands) or on the (morning of the) 6th, supposedly to celebrate his birthday (on the 6th), even though that is actually the day when Saint Nicholas died. In some countries he rides into town on a donkey, but in the Lowlands he comes by boat, because he used to be the patron saint of sailors, children, prostitutes and merchants...

  • @CelestialWoodway Hungary. Though I think it's the same in Russia as well. It's Nicholas name day, so basically Saint Nicholas day. Therefore, he comes on that day. If you were good he brings you a red sack with chocolate and puts it into your cleaned boots by the window at night. If you were bad, you only get a piece of stick painted gold. Though most parents put both into the boots, I guess to say that you were neither. Also, people sometimes do the same for each other. I get a bag at work.

  • Consciousness in the unified field? Clearly he has no understanding of what either term means.

  • 14:00, this is what happens when people who haven't taken the necessary mathematics try to understand quantum mechanics....ugh..

  • Oh shoot martin plays games. +1 like

  • Jen you should show movie Rare Exports to your son! : )

...hails from the land of original Santa myth: Finland.

  • @Rosvosektori

    - "the land of original Santa myth: Finland."

The American Santa Claus is largely based on the Dutch Sinterklaas character that can be traced back to Saint Nicholas of Myra in present-day Turkey, whose mythical legacy is strikingly similar to the Jesus story that also seems to have been modeled after earlier stories. But maybe Santa is just the love child of Odin and Father Christmas in a Coca-Cola costume, because he has several 'originals'. Old gods don't die; they get restyled.

  • @TheAtheistExperience How I love the fact that "Cola Santa" comes from early christian backround. But yeah the mythology of our Santa komes from Knut "Nuuttipukki." A guy dressed into a horned outfit spanking mean kids and giving gifts to nice kids. The celebration Knut's day was January 3rd from 1131 to 1708. Thanks to christianity it came some minor religious memory day called "Knuutinpäivä". See the irony? Pagan tradition transformed.

....either way watch Rare Exports. : )

  • Top 10 reasons I don’t believe in a god. 1. No Evidence! 2. No Evidence! 3. No Evidence! 4. No Evidence! 5. No Evidence! 6. No Evidence! 7. No Evidence! 8. No Evidence! 9. No Evidence! 10. No Evidence!
  • Oh, it's 2+2=God guy! :D

  • What he's trying to say is that the universe is powered by something that creates pattern, and he gives it the attributes of consciousness- therefore a mind---of god.

  • @breaneainn

Like a 5 year old that thinks the wind stole his baloon. ...

  • @Xigano1 lol! totally.

  • @breaneainn

that something is the laws of physics and time..those laws result in both order and entropy..order emerges out of entropy, and entropy can gradually result in complex order..no intelligent god needed for this..just chance.

  • @itzahazylife Absolutely. I was just trying to summarise the guys crazy point of view, because he couldn't quite say it himself.

  • i meant to say that complex order gradually emerges out of entropy, and complex order gradually goes back to entropy.

  • @itzahazylife Cool, I know what you mean. Even though entropy dictates how much information can be contained in a closed system and it goes from order>disorder, disorder itself is predictably chaotic, so has an inherent pattern of its own...complex order.

  • There is nothing better than observing other cultures if you wan't to learn about your own...

  • lol-''every woman on there is a virgin or a whore'' :D

  • Holy Ghost flying saucer?

  • Fallout and Left 4 Dead mentioned on The Atheist Experience?

I didn't think this show could get any better.

  • The last caller is pretty funny :P Marin's kind of an ass for messing with him right away.

  • This is his argument put more simply

Quantum physics is very weird and it exists

    god is really weird

    therefore god exists

  • Hi, i'm ugly and my life sucks. Does that mean that God doesn't exist? Cause i hope it does!

  • Comment removed

  • Cosmic Wave Dude is grossly misrepresenting quantum physics.

  • Martin strikes me as a "Q" that you would see in stark trek.

  • I am a terrible person, during the minute 51:10, I couldn't help but to imagine the caller as the "crazy" guy that sells you stuff in the pc game plants versus zombies.

    ._.

  • You guys come across as some really unhappy people.

  • @beauty8116 You come across as stupid so it all works out.

  • Molotofs over here

  • 54:29 "In your world, making sense is just something that happens to other people."

Martin, that was such a great line and so well-delivered that I think *it* must have been supernatural! :)

  • Turns out "28 Days Later" and "28 Weeks Later" were the second and third stories in the series.

    Jehovah Films presents

    a Pontius Pilate production

    of a whoever-wrote-Matthew film

"3 (Really 2, It's A Weird Jewish Calendar Thing, Don't Ask) Days Later".

He is arisen...and he brought company!

  • alice copper said it best i love the dead

  • GENTLEMEN, CERN have trapped antimatter

  • @Multimorten I looked into this. Looks like we trapped matter in 2010. BUT! The trapping of antimatter for 16 minutes straight is awesome news. Might lead to advance propulsion systems. :)

  • @EdgePitSwing I have alot higher expectations then that. Its evidence for a Multiverse, and a first step to find a way to travel between universes :D

  • @Multimorten I dunno about Multiverse. Let's say Anti Matter is a glimpse into another universe, that would just indicate 1 more universe, not multiple. Maybe a Parallel.

  • @EdgePitSwing :D they made a standard model, that fits the Muniverse. The one thing that was missing was antimatter, now that it have evidence. There is a big chance for a Multiverse. Thats all im saying

  • "Im starting to realise things!" "thats cos you're coming off a 3 month crack-bindge, son, its called reality"

  • Zombies?Zombies?! I'm converting!

  • *sniff* I love you guys

  • Oooh Oooh Oooh Oooh Oooh I'll convert if that means the Zombies will come back!

  • Theists have never been good at keeping secrets.

  • The first caller is proposing a theistic interpretation of Chalmerian Panpsychism, a misunderstood form of it, which itself has plenty of problems... Go Ignorance!

  • Zoombie must prevent abortions first, then eat brainzzz

  • zombie jesus?! New zombie mutation for left 4 dead?

  • That Dan conversation was a riot, LOL!

  • Is it just me who thinks Martin is a little douche bag?

  • I absolutely LOVE astronaut man!

    He is truly hilarious!

  • @ALOSTAMERICAN It would be narcisist

  • Zombie Jesus? BRING IT ON!!! MARTHA, get me the shotgun!

  • @murderiwrought1 fuck yeah man dah rules

  • @murderiwrought1 fuck yeah man dah rules / they sound and act pritty happy to me

  • Virgins into hookers into zombies I think you are right, you got a movie idea here! You need Charlie Sheen on this one!

  • @Penetal You know what? I'm thinking it should be in the same format as Team America

  • That kidney argument was excellent.

  • Perry is an idiot on some issues, but just because he is not Atheist does not make him a bad politician. It is not a surprise that an Atheist cannot be elected in TX or any other state. Being an Atheist does not make a politician good, even though it makes them a little more in-the-know.

  • True story, in my diary it says the graves open and then the zombies make me an egg and cheese omelete ;)

  • I've never watched a fulL episode b4, every caller was batshit crazy, with one exception.

  • One could not become aware of one's own consciousness, unless one first had some states of consciousness to be aware of. Primacy of Existence is in your base stealing your flag!

  • Love the intro song...

  • Hahahahahaa, Zombie Strippers is the worst movie ever, yet I love it.

  • Pray for rain. Yep. That ought to work! Honestly, is that governor real?

  • Quick question, as an Atheist, is alright to worship yourself as long as...?

  • @ALOSTAMERICAN

Since worship usually refers to something very good or perfect,

one would have to be realy, realy narcissistic to do so.

Then again, pleasing myself is one of my main goals in life :)

  • I understand the caller's point about visitor's from else where propagating religion - perhaps appearing as gods to ancient man - only because the caller's point was poorly articulated, the hosts poked fun at the caller in bad taste. The caller made an EXCELLENT point - as any sufficiently advanced civilization would seem as god or gods to us. Listen guys!

  • lol doomsday has not affected me so far..

  • by the way i would love to see a zombie apocalypse with hookers and virgins :p

  • "great idea the christianism, when do they put it into practice?" jacque fresco

  • The last caller was so up in spirits! He sure been studying dem ancient secret asstrenawts!

  • COME AT ME ZOMBIES!

  • That second last caller came right out of left field! Da-ang! O.o

  • just wanted to say in fallout there r no zombies theyre called gouls who r people who mutated due to radiation and r friendly good vid tho

  • animal sacrifices ALWAYS get rain

  • Was anyone else expecting that last caller to start rambling about crop circles and probing? O_o

  • lol i didnt know that Martin Wagner is a GAMER, cool :D

(Fallout and L4D kick ass games ! )

  • Remember, when fighting zombies aim for the head. The Romans didn't do it 2000 years ago, and look where we are now.

  • @dabomb1357 That cracks me up big time man lol

  • @dabomb1357 LOL, that was hilarious!! Thanks.

  • @dabomb1357 thats terrible

  • @TheOptimistPrime Wow, that's a whole heck of a lot to infer from a simple comment relaying a well-known metaphor. I have recently come to the conclusion that, as you say, arguing against theists is an exercise in futility, and am TRYING to resist the urge (although sometimes I see something so hateful or ignorant I fell I HAVE to respond). In this case however, I don't fell that is what I was doing, just adding my own 2 pithy cents, that's all.

  • You lost my respect Jen

  • Who should descide? DUE PROCESS

  • Atheism sarcasm and fallout reference FTW

  • Too bad early Christians didn't go out and fight zombies. That would be so badass.

  • would love it if you guys could give out these episodes in atleast 720p

Great show anyways, very interesting to see how you guys have it in America. Hope you will suceed in spreading logic to all those without it.

  • I can't even follow this DipShit. You two get an "A"

  • Zombie Apocalypse?! Oh no, not again!

  • is matt no the host anymore?

  • If more people believed there is only one life, then maybe they would treasure that life even more.I started writing this before they got on the abortion issue,I am not commenting on that.

  • If more people believed there is only one life, then maybe they would treasure that life even more.

  • XD 54:15

"Who's to say who is here first?"

    "Doctor Who."

  • instead of spending 7 minutes talking about basically useless stuff, couldn't they have just given the announcements?

  • ASTRONAUTS FUCKING ASTRONAUTS!

  • I think Jen Peeples is hot!!

  • I specifically remember the "please do not evangelize to us while we eat" clause not being in earlier episodes. Not sure how much earlier but.. it was not there. Has this become an actual problem for them? Normally rules like that aren't made if someone doesn't give reason for the rule to exist.

  • I don't find it surprising that Martin has no offspring. If anyone looks like a 40 year old virgin it's him.

  • LOL @last caller...."astronauts" rofl.

  • As a physicist I find incredibly annoying when people use concepts from Quantum Mechanics to justify anything that doesn't have to do with Quantum Mechanics, specially when the arguments used are based on what is at best a poor understanding of the subject.

  • As a physicist myself I find that all arguments that use Quantum Mechanics to justify anything that is not specifically related to Quantum Mechanics, specially when they base their argument in their poor understanding.

  • The second to last caller probably had brain damage or some mental illness. (I do not mean this as an insult). I did not find it funny when the hosts were making fun of him sarcastically. To understand why I did not find it funny, pretend as if the hosts were talking to a person with down syndrome like that and then say "in your world making sense is what other people do". I would have liked it if the hosts cared more about the mental well being of there callers. I am atheist but that was rude.

  • @TheLuckySaGe Being from the Bible Belt myself, I can say its difficult sometimes to tell the difference between religious zealots and true mental illness. While they *could* have been kinder, yes... they are not medical experts or psychologists, and they take calls without screening, I believe, so they are assuming the people on the phone are capable of understanding the conversation. You can hardly hold them to such a standard, to know over one phone call who is truly handicapped.

  • Evidence for quantum mechanics is evidence against the existence of God because omniscience is incompatable with quantum indeterminacy. Its amazing how many people bring up the quantum wave nature of matter with no clue that the wave nature is the probabalistic nature of the information state itself.

  • @WaiteDavidMSPhysics

Although I don't believe in any god, you first statement has a few quirks. Logic is evidence against the christian god. The bible itself is evidence against the christian god. See where I'm going? Not only is quantum mechanics not required, you used the word "God" as if there was only one. More correctly,

"Quantum mechanics provides another example of evidence against the existance of a super natural entity"

  • @drche420 I'm not in dissagreement about those other evidences. I was referring to quantum mechanics because that was what the caller was invoking. I intentionally used God because I was referring to that which is omnipotent and omniscient by definition, not something else that one might worship. God alah Yawey is the impossible kind of god because of its impossible properties.

  • @WaiteDavidMSPhysics

Everyone's definition of "god" is different. Although it is true that some versions of "god" are physically impossible, some people may define their "god" as supernatural aka outside the realm of our existance. In which case, nothing can be known about their "god" therefore it is pointless to believe in it.

  • @drche420 The omniscient god called Yahweh or God is what I was taliing about, not other gods. Omniscience is a part of its defining characteristics due to Isaiah and is a common part of the definition for those that believe in that particular god because of that author. Thats what makes God, as well as any others like this particular kind of god incompatible with quantum indeterminacy.

  • @WaiteDavidMSPhysics

Oh ok I understand now, thanks.

  • Jen peeples its not pyscichisist who are least likely to be believers its biologist. jen your such a good parent you know ecactly how to smarten up your kid i'lll do the same thing if or when i have kids.

  • Jen peeples its not pyscichisist who are least likely to be believers its biologist.

  • That was one of the most interesting shows I can remember. My position on abortion seems to be somewhat similar to the caller, that put me into the position theist listeners might usually be. Martins and Jens arguments were not at all convincing for me, they missed the point more than once.

That offers a nice perspective into Confirmation Bias and its friends and relatives and simply into how the mind works. Thanks!

  • @yvranx

If you think Jen "missed the point", then it seems that you are the one who has missed the point.

If you haven't ever heard of a "beating heart cadaver", it is a patient who is brain-dead yet all other organs function normally. Without the ability to think, a beating heart cadaver has lost their entire personality and all life experiences. Similarly, an unborn fetus has zero life experiences , therefore it has no personality. A beating heart cadaver is medically dead.

  • @drche420 That seems to be a pretty interesting conversation you are having with the voices in your head. You managed to miss the entirety of what I said, and no, this is not a cheap retort.

  • @yvranx

Actually, when you insult someone whilst simultaneously providing no explanation, that is in fact called a cheap retort.

  • @drche420 So what's their answer?

  • @yvranx

See if you can try to make less sense. Twould be entertaining.

  • @drche420 Ok, I'll let you know if I can come up with something. Have fun!

  • Still love the show though. Lmfao. Keep it up.

  • Meh. I'm an atheist but these people are a bit conceited and sarcastic. I'm not for sure what the goal of this show is. If its to support and entertain fellow atheists, then awesome, its good. If it is to try to convince religious people of atheism, I think you're going about it wrong. They don't want to question their faith as is, and being sarcastic doesn't make you any more approachable. And yeah, I know its difficult and frustrating to deal with the highly pious population but life's a bitch.

  • I found the lost chapters. Mathew 29:1 Brains! Brains!

  • what I don't get is why that guy called for the abortion question

is he trying to equate the 2? or just interested in their opinion ?

  • grabbing at straws!!!!!

  • lol @ freestyle blasphemy!!

  • I've been calling 'Easter' "Zombie Day" for years now!

  • @JustinDoherty94 me too bro. happy belated zombie day!

  • what a cluster of calls! 3rd was a riot!

  • "if your making a testable claim that very much becomes the realm of science" - Well duh! Sorry I am an atheist but I face-palmed at that statement. Thats like saying "if your using science, then it is very much the realm of science! LOL!

  • More full episode Please..........

  • pride and prejudice is my bible HAIL THE ZOMBIE INVASION

  • @DiscoRByrno aren't Christians zombies anyways?

  • I'm ready for the zombie apocalypse. Bring it on.

  • @bamboo4tameshigiri Always remember to double-tap. ;)

  • @bamboo4tameshigiri

what is your Z plan ^^

  • That first caller is painful to listen to. He is a primary example of my nuclear physics professor's favorite saying: "A little knowledge is dangerous."

  • @darkchiron Oh so true!

  • @DiscoRByrno I would say he tries to make an argument from feelings. You're right in the sense that most people who like this also tend to dismiss science as a conspiracy theory. I have seen the videos from this man. He acts exactly like you said. He also looks like a really scary Santa Claus. He is clearly far beyond help.

  • Dishonest ways in which creationists try to bypass the scientific method:

    1. God is beyond the realm of science.

    2. Science proves God.

    3. God can be proven with feelings.

    4. Science hasn't discovered something so God is the answer.

These are the only things creationists have. Whoever adopts these ideas is either stupid, misinformed, or dishonest. Thank you very much.

  • @MunkyDrag0n everytime they regress and resort to these tactics. laughable!

  • Technically, Left 4 Dead and Fallout don't have zombies. ;) They have infected and mutants.

  • @bleunt So technically Resident Evil and Dead Rising don't have zombies either......just infected?

  • @DTMTroy Yup. Same goes for 28 Days Later and I Am Legend.

  • On the last caller:

Evidence for the existence for a god would not only have to be shown from that moment and onward, it also would have to falsify all the scientific theories brought forward until now.

So we would have to dispose of all the technology we have that was build as a consequence of the scientific discoveries, because they wouldn't work anymore, because the science was all wrong.

That is why I can say that I will not be convinced, period.

Cheers and thanks for a great show

  • I think they were a bit unfair to the first caller. I /think/ he was proposing a kind of Terminator-style paradox, where humans brought an omnipotent being in to existence, who then created existence (because he's outside time) in which humans brought him in to existence.

  • Say, has anybody else here ever read the graphic novel, "Jesus Hates Zombies"?

  • Dead flying zombie jew

  • How horribly close minded to let your kid realize non existent entities are non existent. Its more open minded to lie to your kids about all the fairy tale stuff. Okay maybe not

  • lol microtubuals are structures in a cell useful for a whole heap of functions wtf is this with there beign mircotubuals in the synaptic cleff there are microtubuals in every living eukaryotic cell!! They are not computers processing stuff they are what the name suggests, very very very small tubes. Poor guy doesn't know what he's talking about just blurting out hard to comprehend physics and biology facts in the effort to make himself sound like he's on to something

  • lol microtubuals are structures in a cell useful for a whole heap of functions wtf is this with there beign mircotubuals in the synaptic cleff there are microtubuals in every living eukaryotic cell!!

  • Poor guy seems to have the wonder of a physicist but shackled by religion. Should read some Feynman.
