@Mallood123 i'm glad you are back up and riding and just to let you know i had a horse who had broken her leg as a yearling and when she was about 6 she was cleared for jumping by A LOT of vets at least 14 or 15 different ones and we still waited another two years she ended up getting sold and going on to a girl who jumped her grand prix. so do the dolt who was saying that, that ment your horse was in pain psh you got one more person to back you on that.
Not saying you have bad parents but my parents would never let me ride if i was that close to being paralised!!!! Very very very very very lucky! Cute horse too! :)

@TheSeri21 Heh, it does hurt a bit. XD Depending on if you're wearing long enough boots too.. Once I rode in sneakers, which is a very bad choice, I don't recommend riding in them, and I ended up with a nasty and large wound since the leather was rubbing against my skin. It hurt for a few days, and bled a lot. ^^; And also, if you're wearing shorts on a hot day, you shouldn't ride longer than an hour or so. :) I think. ^-^ Not entirely sure.

Wow! So glad you are OK. Your horse reminds me very much of the half-arab mareat my barn right now, she is feisty and gets over excited about jumping too. Last year she fell on her owner in a very simillar situation as your fall. Be careful!
Why are people so concerned with the shorts? I live in a hot and humid climate and sometimes that is what you have to do! Plus, she is not in a show wearing shorts. pull that stick out and try riding in shorts sometime...you might like it.
Also, hands do get high sometimes but when a horse throws its head up and back that will happen. I have a horse that shakes his head non-stop with or without pressure and, some horses get into teh habit of bucking and never stop with no cause for the bucks

You have a SUPER cute horse and I don't know what FJCowgirl83 is seeing about you riding bad. My horse is a grand Prix horse and he throws his head to sometimes because I don't ride him with a standing martingale so that probably why your horse throws his head to because it didn't look like you rode him in one and thats totally fine. Glad to hear you are ok that looked like it hurt A LOT!!!

Wow! So glad you are OK. Your horse reminds me very much of the half-arab mareat my barn right now, she is feisty and gets over excited about jumping too. Last year she fell on her owner in a very simillar situation as your fall. Be careful!

Why are people so concerned with the shorts? I live in a hot and humid climate and sometimes that is what you have to do! Plus, she is not in a show wearing shorts. pull that stick out and try riding in shorts sometime...you might like it.
Also, hands do get high sometimes but when a horse throws its head up and back that will happen. I have a horse that shakes his head non-stop with or without pressure and, some horses get into teh habit of bucking and never stop with no cause for the bucks

Were do you get off with saying anything @ all about her fall and her BREACKING HER NECK?? from the very start she was already into the jump! . There is no turning back win it comes to stuff like that. You have a SUPER cute horse and I don't know what FJCowgirl83 is seeing about you riding bad. My horse is a grand Prix horse and he throws his head to sometimes because I don't ride him with a standing martingale so that probably why your horse throws his head to because it didn't look like you rode him in one and thats totally fine. Glad to hear you are ok that looked like it hurt A LOT!!!

I am more concerned about the horse constantly throwing his head than I am about her riding in shorts. Obviously some training issues going on here. Either he doesn't know how to give to pressure, rider's hands are WAY too harsh, or he's in pain. Or, a combination of all 3. Please get some help so that he can be relaxed and comfortable!
