I liked the first movie and I think they should because there's slot more people out there that haven't read the books and would still enjoy the movies like me!!!!
I saw the first movie it was great the effects the actors the music the story perfect movie and I think it should be a second movie because of the end of the first one.
I think they can make a second movie we just need more people cause they don't want to lose money we should understand them.

Make a new movie that pieces the story together and make some changes in the story line that compensates for what the movie left out. build up from the books but keep them as a reference and dont make this eragon ELDEST make it a extansion of the first movie

Completely in favor of a sequence to Eragon. However, if there comes the time for it, they must find a better writer. I'm a fan of the book; and taking into consideration that movies seldom follow the complete book story line, some do a better job than others. This I felt fell on the later...it's a shame to waste such wonderfull story.

The books are the best ones, But i would like to see the chars comeing to life in an other movie :) And i liked the 1st movie. It had good graphics and were clarely the best one in the dragon appearance, at my opinion. In all the other movies the dragons are eighter evil or ugly, And that irritates me a lot after reading the eragon series.

There might be differences between the movie and book but that is understandable... Sometimes there are changes on the story to fit the budget.. so, you book geeks, please understand!

@Rebeccapetridis That movie had nothing to do with the book. The only things in common were the character names, a dragon was in it, and it was in Alagaesia. The Inheritance Cycle is my favorite series of books but i would have to rate the movie at a 2/10.
i feel the need to say that while i love the eragon iheritance books, the movie eragon blows the big one. look into your heart, you know it to be true... lol i agree with the person down there that says redo the first movie before even attempting a second one. if you do it right the movies could easily be on the level and scale of 300 and lord of the rings
if they make eldest without re-making eragon the movie, then only about 500 people will watch it. the movie phailed. nothing fit with the book anywhere, the cast in te movie looked not one thing like the characters in the book. and a lot of other crap that should've been put in.
eragon movie sucked, i, for one, will not ever even consider watching the next movie unless it is remade
althoug i do agreed one hundred percent with you, you can be so hard on the first movie, i know i laked almost everything but i am sure if it had been having some moe things from the bok in it we would stil despise it, because in the end nothing beats the books.... in my opinion
